An Update on the Future of MMO-Champion

So you might not know yet. but whats gonna happen with those of us who purchased premium etc? is that a feature you will carry forward?

Magic Find? Never heard of 'em until now. Looks like they found Garfield, I mean Boubouille, a mouse though.

instead of focusing only on a decadent title maybe it's time to spread your roots to all MMOs and be the go-to place for news and information regarding the MMO genre, fitting of the name of the website.

Can we shut down the off topic forums that became personal blog posts of a few weirdos over the years now?

I do not comment often on MMOC but this is one of my most checked gaming sites because it is a no frills, exhaustive breakdown of everything happening in WOW without a lot of editorialization. I'll decide if i hate the new feature or not (Most often I do not). That is what i appreciate about this site the most and thats why i pay for it. Whatever you can do to preserve that uniqueness would be desirable for me.

I recognize that sites like wowhead do and offer A LOT of content which attracts visitors (and thus money) but i find the cluttered layout almost unbearable to use.

I would definitely be interested in similar meat and potatoes coverage of other "MMO" style games like division 2 or STO or whatever. sometimes its impossible to figure out what is going on over there.

Whats your long and short term involvement going to be in terms of the ongoing development of the site are you done working on the site as an admin or are you sticking around in any capacity?

I won't be involved in the website, but for full disclosure I am an investor in Magic Find, and the team includes people who have worked on MMO-Champion since 2007.

I'm extremely grateful that Fandom helped us preserve the community and I'm sure the team will have more updates soon

Can we get rid of the Mercenary Mods please?

I'd like to suggest that like post count required to post pictures a post count requirement to make new threads.

Aaaw well thanks for the work over the last 10+ years that we have all been here!

From a business point of view and a future web developer, I'm really curious what kind of expenses running a site like this incurs.
