Heads up! The current season of activities in Mythic Keystone Dungeons and PvP is ending soon.

This will mean an end to all players’ opportunities to earn seasonal rewards and titles, as well as the end of seasonal rankings for BFA Season 2.

For two weeks following the end-of-season, we will have an off-season. During that two weeks period, Mythic Keystone dungeons will still be playable using Season 2 affixes and rewards, but their seasonal achievements will no longer be available. In PvP during that two week period, players still queue for rated PvP and earn appropriate rewards, but the PvP leaderboards will be locked.

Good luck fighting to a glorious finish of the season!

    I know it says "soon", but this is pretty much tantamount to a 2 week notice without saying it straight out.

    They haven't really been that extremely strict about the 2 weeks anymore in the past, I could possibly see it next week already. Would definitely favor that!

    Can't remember if the patch drops at the close of a season or the start of a new one... so 8.2 on 6/25?

    end of a season, start of new season usually happens with raid.
    however 8.1 the season went straight to raid, meaning no gap.

    Oh look. FFXIV' ShadowBringers hitting on June 29th. Blizzard's response to release 8.2 on June 25th (in 2 weeks)

    Dear Blizz, please just give us a release date. There are a lot of guilds and people out there who are working on their final progression and could use a date to help create plans for their respective guilds.

    There is literally two possible dates now, either next week, or the one after that (probably that). Just make plans for either option, and you'll be fine.

    I only really see the 25th as a possible release date if have the be on this side of the 4th of July holiday.

    Every other possible day interferes with the 4th.:

    11th of June: Mythic raid is released two days before the 4th.

    18th of June: Raid and new seasons is released two days before the 4th.

    25th of June: One week of bug fixing before the 4th. Raid hits on the 9th.

    2nd of July: Patch is released two days before the 4th.

    9th of July: The patch would have to be finalised first day back from the 4th holiday.

    16th of July: Best guess for release date after the 4th.

    Like that game is any threat to wow's sub count in any way, i'll even be amazed if that game has over 200K active subs.

    And there we go, a WoW white knight has reached the forums ! Do some google research and you'll know FFXIV is now listed as #1 subscribed-based MMO on the market world-wide right now. But hey, what do I know...

    Not that I trust theses numbers but Just from a quick google, it would be number 3.

    If you mean popularity every site I checked had it at 3 or even lower normally behind elder scrolls.

    I unsubbed wow to play FFxiv since it gets me busy while i wait for content in WoW .

    But it is really cheap move from blizz, i was really looking forward to play shadowbringers, but now with my guild calling me back for 8.2 i dont know if i will be able to handle 2 games at the same time

    What a joke, i'm baffled you actually think that any game gets even close to WoW numbers after 15 years.

    Thats not subs, but registered users. Wow had over 100M of those, so still a long way to go then

    Yeah. Too late for me to become interested ... even for 8.2. BFA killed the game for me.

    But but but they never do anything like that on purpose, it's always "coincidental" !
