Lady Ashvane is a boss encounter in The Eternal Palace raid in World of Warcraft. Our strategy guide will help you to defeat Lady Ashvane encounter and the loot listing below contains all of the loot he drops on each difficulty.

Overview

Lady Ashvane is the fourth encounter in The Eternal Palace. It is a single boss rotating between two phases, requiring two tanks and a balanced mix of healers and DPS. It can not be accessed until the previous three bosses have been defeated.

• Number of Enemies: 1 boss with priority add spawns.
• Primary Mechanics: Area Denial, Raid Coordination & Movement, Buff/Debuff Management, Soaking.
• Notable Abilities: Hardened Carapace, Coral Growth, Rippling Wave, Briny Bubbles, Waterlogged, Upsurge, Exposed Azerite, Barnacle Bash, Arcing Azerite

Fight Basics (Normal and Heroic)

Phase 1

• Tanks will be hit with Barnacle Bash.
• This bash creates a patch of coral on the ground that deals damage. Tanks must move around the room slowly as the area fills up.
• The coral left behind will slowly despawn (roughly 60 seconds after it is created).
• The boss starts with Hardened Carapace, absorbing damage. Breaking this shield triggers the second phase.
• Lady Ashvane will target random areas of the room and spawn two Coral Growths.
• Players must move away from these spawns, else they take damage and are knocked back.
• Coral Growths are used in Phase 2 and can be ignored until then.
• Ashvane will cast Rippling Wave which spawns an orb of water from each growth. These orbs slowly move toward her.
• Players must soak the orbs otherwise they restore 10% of her shield.
• Different players should soak orbs as they apply the Waterlogged debuff.
• The soaking of these orbs must be staggered, as soaking one will deal burst damage to the raid.
• Ashvane will also debuff one tank and two dps with Briny Bubbles.
• After five seconds, these three players will be encased in a bubble that must be broken. These are priority adds.
• Players will take DoT damage while they are in the bubble. DPS must break them free as soon as possible.
• The boss will also randomly mark the location under multiple players with Upsurge.
• Players must quickly move from Upsurge locations to avoid damage and a knock-up effect.
• Once the Hardened Carapace is broken, Phase 2 will begin.

Phase 2

• Phase two will last roughly 60 seconds. During this time the boss will regenerate her Hardened Carapace, but at 150% more power than the previous one.
• Ashvane will also be vulnerable taking full damage, so players should ensure they have all cooldowns available to burst the boss.
• Arcing Azerite will deal steady damage to the raid during this phase.
• Lady Ashvane will still continue to cast Briny Bubbles, Upsurge and Barnacle Bash during this phase.
• The boss will gain a new ability in the form of Arcing Azerite.
• Three pairs of players will be marked (2, 2 and 2). They will have either red, blue or yellow debuffs.
• After 10 seconds, the marked players will shoot a beam from themselves to the other marked player of the same color debuff.
• Anyone in this path will take major damage, and any Coral Growths in the path of the beam will be destroyed.
• Players must work together to destroy all the Coral Growths that were created in Phase 1.
• Once the phase ends, phase one begins again. Repeat until the boss is dead.

On Heroic Difficulty and higher the boss will spawn an additional Coral Growth in Phase 1, the coral left behind from Barnacle Bash will not despawn, and Briny Bubble targets will encase anyone within 12 yards of them in a bubble after the five second timer is up.

Strategies by Role

All Roles

• Move to a designated stack point if debuffed with Briny Bubble.
• Stagger soaking the Rippling Wave orbs to control raid damage.
• Do not stand on Coral Growth.
• Drop red, blue and yellow raid marks on the coral growths to to prevent all Arcing Azerite targets from trying to break the same growth.

DPS

• Take talents and essences for Single Target damage.
• Swap to the Briny Bubbles that appear and break players free instantly.
• Healthstones and Health Potions are useful during Arcing Azerite if low HP or during Rippling Wave soaks.

Healers

• Ensure you can see Briny Bubble, Arcing Azerite, Waterlogged and Barnacle Bash on your raid frames.
• Raid CDs may be needed if too many Rippling Wave are soaked at the same time.
• Tanks may end up taking two Barnacle Bash in a row during some points in the fight, use externals on them at this time.

Tanks

• Barnacle Bash is your taunt swap timer.
• Move the boss after each Barnacle Bash to avoid the coral left behind.
• One tank will always be the target of Briny Bubble, stay alert.
• If you need to take more than one Barnacle Bash pop defensives and call for externals.
