Overview
The Queen's Court is the sixth encounter in The Eternal Palace. It is two bosses in a single phase, cycling through various decrees. It requires two tanks and a balanced mix of healers and DPS.
- Number of Enemies: 2 bosses with priority add spawns.
- Primary Mechanics: Area Denial, Raid Coordination & Movement, Buff/Debuff Management, Soaking, Constant Awareness.
- Notable Abilities: Pashmar's Touch, Fanatical Verdict, Separation of Power, Frenetic Charge, Violent Outburst, Zealous Eruption, Form Ranks, Stand Alone, Repeat Performance, Obey or Suffer, Deferred Sentence, Desperate Measures.
Fight Basics (Normal and Heroic)
- The two bosses must be tanked 21 yards or more away from one another, else they take 99% less damage.
- The bosses do not share health and must be defeated within 15 seconds of each other, or they heal back up.
- Each boss has unique abilities:
- Silivaz the Zealous
- Each successful attack on the tank will increase Silivaz's attack speed by 8%, stacking.
- Random players will be targeted with Frenetic Charge.
- At full energy, Silivaz will cast Zealous Eruption.
- Players will need to stack on Frenetic Charge to split the damage.
- Frenetic Charge should be baited to the edge of the room as it leaves behind a permanent pool.
- When Silivaz reaches full energy, players should stack in the protective bubble that is created to avoid damage from Zealous Eruption.
- Anyone targeted by Fanatical Verdict must move away from other players.
- When Potent Sparks spawn, kill them off in a staggered manner to control the raid damage.
- When Pashmar reaches full energy, be 30+ yards away to reduce the damage of Violent Outburst.
- In addition to the above mechanics, Queen Azshara will cycle through issuing Decrees during the encounter. Each Decree causes the raid to do something, else false a penalty.
- Decrees will start 30 seconds into the fight, and be cast every 60 seconds after that.
- These decrees always come in the same order, and the order repeats as long as the fight goes on.
- The order is Form Ranks, Repeat Performance, Stand Alone, Deferred Sentence, Obey or Suffer.
- Players must deal with these decrees while handling each boss's unique abilities, ultimately killing them within 15 seconds of one another.
On
Heroic Difficulty and higher decrees will happen more frequently (every 45 seconds) and Potent Sparks will be deadly if killed within 5 seconds of one another.
Strategies by Role
All Roles
DPS
- Take talents and essences for single target boss damage, or two target boss damage, but bosses will never been in cleave range for melee.
- Remember both bosses need to die within 15 seconds of one another, balance DPS.
- It is much more important to handle all the mechanics appropriately (spreading, soaking, stacking, etc) than it is to blindly DPS.
Healers
- Be cautious of overlaps in mechanics that cause a few players to be in dangerous positions. This is likely unavoidable but manageable.
- Raid CDs may be needed anytime a boss hits full energy.
- Deferred Sentence will be the largest raid damage, followed by Potent Sparks explosions.
- Tanks will need constant direct healing.
Tanks
- Frenetic Charge is a good opportunity to tank swap.
- Swap once Pashmar's Touch reaches 8 stacks
- Use personals during moments when the raid is taking heavy damage, to allow healers to focus on DPS.
- Keep the bosses 21+ yards apart at all times.
- Tanking Silivaz in the center of the room is ideal, as DPS can more easily use the edge of the room to bait the Frenetic Charge.
Mythic The Queen's Court Strategy Guide
