WoW Classic - Closed Beta Shutting Down Today

Wish I got the chance to participate. The release is not far off though, so I’ll be enjoying it without having been burned out playing the beta.

Nice. Now put the code on a jump drive and throw it into the ocean. We'll pretend this never happened and you can go back to trying to figure out what the hell to do with your actual game.

Yeah dont get your hopes up about that, since its 1h before closing they will probably spawn bosses and overpowered enemies in the capital cities like they did when the original beta closed.

Anyone know what the "something quite unusual" is/was? I didn't see anything just now.

this is what happened:
Ragnaros spawned at orgrimmar, everybody got bodied, Gamon included.
All of a sudden, a GM named Layering joined the fight. he had Sylvanas as pet that would summon skeletons, but it would appear and disappear randomly because of ... layering.
Ragnaros adds were lv 43 and they would drop a thunderfury with no level requirement and marked as one-hand.
Then Guardians of Blizzard spawned everywhere at 15 minutes before server closure. they would melee hit for about 6k damage.
this was on the PVE server.
Got some screens but I can't link them unfortunately, not enough posts...

The time is nigh! Time to go back to simpler times before smart phones, DVR's, uber eats and trying to finger fuck people, when a Friday night involved hot pockets, Goldshire, and hand lotion.
