Opening Ceremony, Esports, and Select Panels

This year, everyone’s invited to watch the BlizzCon opening ceremony, all of the BlizzCon esports tournaments, and select developer panels—including the first four panels on the Mythic Stage immediately following the opening ceremony—completely free on BlizzCon.com and in the BlizzCon Mobile App.

Tune in early for a special BlizzCon pre-show at 10:30 a.m. PDT on Friday, and get ready for the opening ceremony live at 11 a.m. PDT. As with the last couple of years, segments of the opening ceremony will take place on multiple stages, with live presenters on the Mythic Stage (Hall D), World of Warcraft Tournament Stage (Hall C), and Hearthstone Tournament Stage (Hall B). The opening ceremony will be simulcast on screens throughout the convention center as well, so you’re sure to find a great seat wherever you are.

BlizzCon 2019 Virtual Ticket
If you want to get the most out of your BlizzCon home-viewing experience, you’ll need to pick up the BlizzCon 2019 Virtual Ticket, which comes with two full days of All-Access Channel content; complete coverage of all of the developer panels on the Mythic, Legendary, and Epic stages; the Community Night contests on Friday; and the live closing festivities on Saturday—plus a legendary cache of commemorative in-game extras. Check out the Virtual Ticket to get a closer look at this year’s loot.

BlizzCon 2019 kicks off November 1—we’ll see you there!

All the coming soons, last time we had this many was the Overwatch announcement Blizzcon (which was also late with showing the schedule.) my tinfoil hat is now opening to a D4 announcement, OW2 announcement and maybe a new IP

If I click on the schedule I only see blank spaces in different colors. So, maybe they have nothing to say from opening ceremonie to ending?

So there is no concert this year then at the end of Blizzcon?

Odd that they haven't announced what it is yet though. I can't remember a Blizzcon where it was announced so late.

Yep! Just today I decided to do some research and noticed that for the Blizzcon 2014 schedule they did the same thing. And funny thing is 95% of the comments were "lol so few panels, this Blizzcon is gonna suck" and then they announce OW and lots of other stuff and rocked it. And now we have not 1 but 6 "Coming Soon!" TBA panels. DAaaayum. It's gonna be lit. And all the haters gonna burn in the flames.

Gonna go out on a limb and say the placeholders are:

World of Warcraft x8 (expansion), Blizzard Classics (Warcraft 3, Diablo 2), Overwatch 2 (expansion), Diablo IV

StarCraft is also conspicuously absent, but it didn't get any panels last year either.

No, Blizzard Arcade is just an arcade where you can play all their old games.

The giant empty space in front of Mythic Stage is going to be the fourth demo area.

Yea, it's usually a big deal and in part justification of the ticket price.

Personally I'd just like to hear a new ETC music or even just their old ones played live again

They've just announced that the first 4 Friday panels (i.e. "coming soon" ones) are going to be FREE TO WATCH.

    Source:
    https://www.wowhead.com/news=295781/...-free-to-watch

Whatever they have planned, these 4 panels must be really big if they're letting people watch them for free. My guesses are: Diablo 4, WoW Expansion, Overwatch 2 and... either Diablo 2 Remastered or some panel about mobile games (though I think they might just announce the Diablo Immortal release date and push any further mobile announcements to next year). Then the two Saturday panels are going to be Diablo Q&A (D2 + D4) and Overwatch 2 Q&A.

WoW Q&A is already there and the Update panel is going to be 8.3 and 8.3.5, Overwatch Update is content for Overwatch 1; Hearthstone, Reforged and HotS already have all their panels revealed, Starcraft won't have a panel this year.

I think you just overlooked it, that should be the "Life at Blizzard: Career & Culture Insights" panel.

Last year the musical guests were announced on the 25th, exactly a week before the event.

the audacity and hypocrisy of having the "inclusion nexus" when you literally just banned people for being political at an event. so i see they make no commitment to keeping politics out of their games, so nobody else should either. i hope they get hounded by protestors.

    Will "What's Next" be free?
