  • Fixed an issue that caused Outlaw Rogues that used Killing Spree against Ragnaros to teleport into the incorrect Ragnaros encounter.
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused players to lose their WoW’s 15th Anniversary buff.
  • Korrak's Revenge
    • Commanders Karl and Louis Philips now have an equal amount of health.

PTR Known Issues - November 22

We have some known issues in the latest build of the Visions of N’Zoth PTR that we’d like to highlight:

Appearances
  • Eyeball Issues – A bug with eyes in several models is being addressed. Noticeably, Night Elves with the ‘Night Warrior’ look don’t have the correct eyes on the PTR.
  • Vulpera Missing Ear Options – Specifically the Female Vulpera.
  • Male Mechagnome is missing a hairstyle.

Allied Race Intros
  • During the Allied Race introduction sequences, players will lose their cursors.
  • The Mechagnome intro will stop on a blank screen.

NPCs
  • Zidormi is placed inside Shrine of the Two Moons – This means that level 120 Alliance players who access the updated Vale of Eternal Blossoms via the main Visions of N’Zoth questline will be phased into hostile Horde territory.

All of the above will be fixed in a future build of the Visions of N’Zoth PTR.

Lol, wow. I'm definitely guilty of forcing that hotfix for Korrak. I was kiting him all over AV the past few nights helping players get their kill when the groups themselves refused to do so.

Another thing that should probably be fixed is Mages being able to open portals before the battleground begins. It used to be a thing for years until it was disabled, but they seemingly forgot about this funny troll this time around. I've even seen people dropping the Brewfest tunneler. It really is just like old times.

The remote now asks you though if you really want to use it, so you cant troll with it anymore.

Oh well that's nice. I wasn't going to click it and find out lol. Portals still work great though. Got a ton of people with Ancient Dalaran.

Haha well I'm guilty of that one. In one of my games I teleported over 20 people to Ancient Dalaran and other places before the BG had begun. I placed it on top of the Healthstone well and they were teleporting out like haters after an LFR wipe. And once they click that portal they are kicked out of the group and can't even warn the other players xD I was worried I'd be the last person left. But it got refilled and we actually won as Alliance. I guess I filtered out the idiots.

What do they mean with that? Were Rogues teleported to the normal or heroic version of him then or what?

That's a variation of very old bug that was used by deathknights and boats during Wrath. Ragnaros is copy of the real Firelands boss Ragnaros. When rogue uses shadow step it takes wrong (or they share) npc identifier and teleports behind that one. I can't find a video of that one.

The dk one was that since all boats were copies of one under the world below Alterac deathgripping to one made you flying to that boat instead.

Imagine using Killing Spree against Ragnaros on a Rogue and you wake back up on the Classic Server.

Why won't they just make all achievments account-wide? This is just beyond any stupidity, make a meta achievment account-wide, while achievments required already involve large amount of time invested and LOTS of luck because of RNG inside RNG inside RNG (anyone still farming that one or two toys/plans on rares?). I'm already so exhausted of doing them on my main, I just can't be arsed to do any on alt (even though my alt has that ONE plan I am missing for achievment on my MAIN since months, it wouldn't make much sense time-wise to farm all of them again, do you agree?).

Sadly Ion has panic attacks every time someone talk about account wide progression.

Welp, looks like Alliance will no longer be completing this quest lol!

Literally finished Mecha-Done on one toon (main) the same day the account wide fix came in. 10 weeks of trying to get the last music scroll. I'm laughing-not-laughing. At least I finally dont have to go back to Mechagon lol.
