Been known for a while that in this patch time walking dungeons would give heroic level loot.. And before people come in whinging about this, the time to get fully kitted out this way would be stupendously long..

Is the cache weekly or daily? I'm assuming it can corrupt. Can the normal mob dropped ilvl 425s corrupt?

I just did it, it's normal loot. Not sure if this is a bug or intended, but I feel like I just wasted 2 hours.

Timewalking has always been Normal loot, and the Quest tells you what you are going to get before you start doing it. Not sure when the rumor started that it would be Heroic now, but there never was any evidence of that on Live servers.

The rumor started on ptr. Everyone was reporting they upped it to heroic quality gear where the quest had been listed as heroic cache for a while now or as far as i'm aware anyways, but citation might be needed there.

No, this one doesn't. Whoever reported this obviously made a mistake or can't read.

huge amount of players would have just skipped the cloak grind due to the tedium and lack of fun

so bliz makes the cloak grind a literally unavoidable core power requirement - forcing players into a mostly binary choice of endure the tedium or quit

these guys design with a sledgehammer, no art at all
