Meh...Unpopular Opinion: Limit only won because they bought just about every single corrupted high ilvl boe in the game from a much larger server pool. Look at their logs/meters. 20k more dmg per person on average. When you inspect their profiles? Literally stuffed to the gills with BoE corruption items for mastery and crit for the mages, other best shit for other dps. They straight out bought the win. It's pathetic.

I don't think I want to define preparation or world first races by who bought the most gear because they have more people to get it from. That's basically not even a valid competition. I said it before we started, corruption would determine the winner here. And it did. Corruptions feel fun to people with the perfect ones, but it's a shit system for competition.

Edit: That's not to say I'm disregarding Limit being skilled, because they obviously are. But would they have achieved this with 20k less dps per person because they didn't buy the race? I'm going to guess no based on history.

It's part of the game though. Earning gold and using it to buy gear. Even MMO's before WoW had a much bigger economy for tradeable end-game gear.

World first guilds are doing basically everything legal and barely legal to get the first kill, buying items is one of those things, and Method would instantly do the same. Heck they would even instantly swap the server if the though that would get them the items necessary to compete. That they did not do that is not because they lack the money, but because it doesn't matter.

Lmao as if Method didn't buy BOEs as well.

You can go to Method's youtube channel this very moment and see the video that Method Josh put up explaining how much in debt Method goes for every world first race to try to buy every possible advantage they can.

You guys are weird as hell. Fanboyism literally lowers your IQ.

Really, you don’t think the first guild to clear the new raid tier is news enough for WoW?

And yet here you are are, annoyed that mmo champ forum members are using their time to talk about it.

So annoyed that you decided to use your time to let them how annoyed you were with it, and to let them know that discussing it wasn't a worthwhile use of their time.

But you don't really care what other people are doing with their time...... right.....

Nope, not annoyed, Do yourself a favor, don't conflate one posters attitude with anothers. I dont really care what people discuss, but IMO a guild clearing the new raid isnt news. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Grats! Good to see some competition finally. Method will have to work harder next time. I did not really follow this but it took a bit longer than usual i think.
