Ion Hazzikostas Response to Rumored Second Secret Mythic N'Zoth Phase
During the Ny'alotha World First Race, theories were buzzing around that N'Zoth had a second secret chamber phase at the 25% mark. Ion Hazzikostas responded to this theory in a tweet recently to clarify that it was never the case and Limit had encountered a bug.

HandyNotes - Visions of N'Zoth Addon
Visions of N'Zoth has a lot to keep track of, and this HandyNotes plugin addon helps a lot as you fly around assaults and explore the content of 8.3! Note that this addon needs the HandyNotes addon to run. The Visions of N'Zoth plugin has a multitude of different useful displays, but here are the most helpful. For a full rundown on what it can do, check out the addon page.

  • Displays rare mobs that spawn during the assault on your map indicated by a skull.
    • If the skull is blue, you still have a collectible that hasn't been looted yet from that particular mob.
    • Hovering over the skull will display information on the NPC, including lighting up its multiple spawn points and showing noteworthy loot it can drop.
  • Shows the location and name of the 6 events in each assault for the day, indicated by a yellow pin on your map.
    • These pins will update daily when the assault dailies reset.
  • Displays the different spawn locations for all lootable chests during the assault.
    • Regular chests show up as a chest icon on the map.
    • The once-per-assault locked coffers show up as a spiked chest icon on the map.
  • Both the Elusive Quickhoof and Friendly Alpaca NPCs needed to get the respective mounts are displayed on the map with an alpaca icon. Hovering over this will show an overlay with the multiple different spawn points on the map.
  • Horrific Vision maps display the locations of mailboxes for the Mail Muncher mount as well as other notable areas with collectibles.

atleast if it was a buggy fight it could be excused, but the fight that we got is not what the playerbase deserved.

Ion should just tell the truth. The 2nd phase was supposed to hint at 8.3.5 storyline involving Bilgewater Harbor and the Lightforged Undead but since the patch got scrapped the had to remove the phase too.

    It's Falathron all over again.

Wrathion was never supposed be in 8.3 but they just threw him in since having Arthas there would've been weird without the storyline in 8.3.5 that they scrapped.

N'zoth was supposed to reveal that everything since the fall of the Lich King has been a lie. Lich King killed everyone and made a pact with Jaina.

Too much money. The millions of players paying $15 a month + multiple purchases of $20 packs of gold clearly does not keep Blizzard afloat. /sarcasm

The ones pictured have nothing to do with the "heritage" of the vulpera though. Better fit for quest blues/greens.

    Yes, it was.

You might have missed the pull where they confirmed it was interactable, but it absolutely 100% was interactable.

i mean, it has to do with the heritage of the race because it's based in racial stylistic choices.

same could be said for zandalari quest gear, that it's a form of heritage armor. or quest gear from wod, for mag'har. that's all heritage armor is, really. gear made by that race, designed in a cultural aesthetic only that race tends to use.

Those concept armors are better armor sets then we had all of BfA.

Pretty much my thoughts aswell. There not being another scrapped Mythic phase actually makes the fight more of a disappointment.

I rather liked the Highway-man / Sailor mish mesh covered in Barnacles sets [Cloth at least] you get in Nazj.

Some armors seems weirdly placed. Warlock set should be mage set or colored differently due to it being a similar color scheme as the vanilla tier 2 for mage. At least I get the same wibe.

The mage set looks like a set we already have in game, mostly due to the hat.

Monk and shaman should swap imo, if they change the helmet. Wood armor reminds me of asia more so than any other place and would fit monks if it were made as pads instead of full enclosed armor.

Swap rogue and DK headpiece but keep overall design. A lot of leather helmets already have fully covered faces so that's already associated + an open hoodie gives it a throwback to DK starter set.

Hunter helmet looks like it would fit Druid or Shaman more. Mostly druid.

It's good fan art but feels like when people give high praise it's just because it's not blizzard.
