Items and Rewards
  • Torn Pages of “Fear and Flesh”
    • The number of Torn Pages of “Fear and Flesh” quest items required for the rank 13-15 cloak quests has been reduced.
      • Rank 13 now requires 4 Torn Pages (down from 6).
      • Rank 14 now requires 6 Torn Pages (down from 12).
      • Rank 15 now requires 8 Torn Pages (down from 18).
      • Developers’ note: This change should make all the quests completable by most players in the week and not require players to feel the need to save as many keys week to week. Along with our other quality-of-life changes, this should help newer characters catch up with their peers.
    • [With regional restarts] Up to 4 Torn Pages of "Fear and Flesh" quest items can now drop in Horrific Visions from objectives on the rank 7-11 legendary cloak upgrade quests (max of 2).
      • Developers’ note: Players will need to clear more than two side areas in one run to get more than two pages. The rank 13-15 quests will still drop a max of 2 pages, only from Lost Area objectives.
  • Coalescing Visions
  • Heart of Azeroth
    • Reaping Flames (Essence) will no longer have its cooldown reduced to 5 seconds and deal additional damage when killing Twisted Appendages.

I sill find it amazing they make you wait so long for LFR to fully unlock.

Just had the pleasure of trying to pvp as a DK post-change. What an absolutely misdirected, backasswards change. Fully buffed with Transfusion up, DS is just useless. They took an iconic sustain ability and just gutted it because they can't balance Corruption effects.

I wish they'd just remove it already. It's completely pointless.

You left out the most important piece of information:
This week, Island Expedition vendors are selling flashfire brew. Round-em-up, burn-em-down, pew pew pew!

What a nice fella. Wanting to remove content from hundreds of thousands of people because you don't like it. They already make people wait for months for no reason.

Because even Blizzard acknowledges that this content is borderline scenario levels. They're probably better off converting it to a single player experience where people queue and have AI help them out and they get guaranteed an item from each boss, or somewhere around 50% per boss.

Then they can add a solo version. Plenty of people like to click a button and do some raiding. Same as they like to click a button and do some dungeons or Bg's. Doing one wing of this raid one day then another wing of that raid the next day or a few days later is very appealing to loads of people.

They want even the most casual F&F guild to be able to clear normal and the most casual regular guild to clear heroic before those who don't raid at all get to clear it on LFR.

Oh i know stretching out content is Blizzards signature move but does anyone really care what happens if LFR aside from the people who do it? Now my sample size if two people so take this with a grain of salt but like me they come back for new content. Unlike me howerver they just won't come back till LFR is fully out. Dunno how may others in 'Team Casual' feel the same way but Blizz ain't making money out of them.

LFR player here. Stretching it out hasn't bothered me. In the 1 or 2 patches where I was more eager to get in to the raid, I just did Normal.

Well the content really wasn't stretched out for you if you did normal was it? Not like you are going to go back and do lfr if you are doing normal.
