Shadowlands Alpha - Build 9.0.1.33978 Creature and Weapon Models

Sick models.

I'm guessing any troll models are being added in another build? Still pretty cool though. Think I'm going to go Night Fae for Covenants

I gotta admit, it never occured to me that we might for a change get weapons that look somewhat clean, sleak and actually usuable instead of SAVAGE-TM (aka crusty lumps of metal more in the shape of clubs than swords). That alone gives me some kind of hope art wise for this expansion.

I also hope those shield models actually end up that large. Sick and tired of the puny bucklers.

Is it just me or does new Sylvanas' face look weird somehow?

Hakkars model looks dope.

This is the kind of moments with blizzcon etc where you know WOW is special since we're still exited t see new stuff after all these years

I see Sauron, mouth of sauron, skeleton king ( d3 ), new ghouls, ghost from LOTR ( pelennor fight )

and those vampires.. oouuu mama!!!

Very awesome models!!!!!!!

Please understand i am not being negative, models looks good and all, but i am a bit sad that there are very few new skeletons. Most of the models are done reusing already existing skeletons. Would be very cool if we' get to see some completely new skeletons (that could eventually become allied race even).

Edit: open question: what's up with all the kyrian models having identical face? Race attribute? PH?

Opinion only:
All of the character models look amazing. Don’t think I saw one that was just meh.
Most of the weapons are fine, but I’m a little let down by the bows/crossbows/guns and almost all of the warglaives.
Overall the designs are awesome.

I love the variety in terms of complexity. There are some crazy looking weapon/armor models, but also some more down to earth ones to compliment them that still look pretty good.

Kel'Thuzad, yes!! God damn finally, my boy is back!

Sizes of those daggers are ridiculous.

Bolvar looks fresh tho.

The amount of awesome models China is going to miss out on due to their no skeleton's policy. Dang!

Are those upgrade-able mounts????? That would be a properly awesome feature.

Once again the art department has outdone themselves

I love the new style they are going for in some of these models. Very sleek.
Glad they aren't afraid for trying something new, completely new, with new creatures and designs we haven't seen before.

Syl looks about the exact same. Still same pale, undead skin tone, same crying banshee tears. Just updated armor. Not sure how she looks more alive.

Looks like the vampire / necro covenants are the ones to go for me.
