Project Fenris Vendor Build 0.0.1.23041 - Potentially Diablo IV
Blizzard has pushed the first encrypted Project Fenris vendor build to their CDNs. Vendor builds are likely used for external partners but this has never been confirmed by Blizzard. As vendor builds are encrypted, we cannot datamine them. In 2018, Kotaku reported that Project Fenris is Diablo IV and has been under development since 2016.

    'project fenris' was the newest and most up to date codename given to the 'diablo 4' project after it was scrapped partially in development under a different codename internally, so no, this isn't diablo immortal.

    No, it's just the first 'public' sign of what is likely D4, definitely not enough to attach a timeline to it or anything like that.

    Diablo Immortal is unlikely to hit release at this point. Investors don't want it to see the light of day. It's massive negative reception proved that the non-Chinese market doesn't want that cheap crap. But Blizzard being lead by incompetent retards basically means they'll release it anyway.

    Apparantly from the way the latest Tencent mobile ARPG fared, neither does the Chinese market.

    Pretty sure I read it was still on track and for summer release.

    Yeah, but it seems like the version number is still 0.0.1 which suggests still in a VERY early stage of development. I suspect no release in 2021.
