The Gates of Ahn'Qiraj Opening in WoW Classic - July 28th (29th in EU)
Blizzard has revealed that the next stage of WoW Classic will open on July 28th (29th in the EU) for all realms.

We’re putting the finishing touches on the next patch for WoW Classic. Version 1.13.5 will go live in July. With that patch, we’ll be ready to unlock the content we’ve been testing on the PTR.

The Ahn’Qiraj content will unlock with the weekly raid reset on July 28 for all realms in this region.

At that time, players can begin the quest chain to craft a Scepter of the Shifting Sands, and players can turn in gathered resources to advance the Ahn’Qiraj war effort.

Once both of those activities are completed on a given realm, the gates of Ahn’Qiraj will be available to be opened.

We’ll see you there!

    sadly since people are focusing so much on the meta,the event will end in no time.

    lots of people have tons of the stuff stockpiled and ready to go

    I mean, that's what I expected from the minute they said "we're not changing the turn ins"

    Why tho. Whats so fun about grinding mats? There is no "epic" event - no real reward for turning these things in. All this would do is allow more people to finish the scepter.

    Nice not gonna be able to experience aq again for some times since I just startet playing last week. But tbh classic is great just the way I remember it in 2005.

    Meh shame the game is ruined by min maxers. WORLD BUFFS. POTS. FARM GOLD EVERYDAY TO RAID. Yeah and all that while content is nerfed version from TBC prepatch that you can literally faceroll with blues.

    Assuming all the turn ins are done quickly isnt the opening gated behind the quest? Anyone know how many lockouts it will take to compete all that?
