Beta Keys for Shadowlands

Well, this is one of the worst ideas Blizzard has had, which is saying A LOT. Give it to the people that will actually use it to make the game better, common sense, Jesus Christ.

I wonder why they never gave keys to Asmongold while he has been carrying the WoW section on Twitch with around 50k viewers on average. Yet the small streamers who constantly shill for the game have like an unlimited amount of keys.

Because companies don't like highly opinionated people constantly criticizing their product.
Take this from someone who use to do a lot of community work for an Xbox game at Microsoft for a few years then completely put on the don't talk to list when I started to be more open about my real thoughts haha.

Doesn’t really hold water given that ion had an “interview” not long ago with preach who is highly opinionated and constantly criticizing Them.

why in gods name would blizz do this knowing fine well it will be abused by greedy money hungry twitch streamers who care little for blizz or wow,beyond me tbh.

Because giving keys to streamers is not about beta testing it's about marketing. It's about getting eyeballs on SL to drive sales. It's not like every Beta tester is out there looking for bugs and stressing systems. So many people just use beta as a preview anyway doing this is hardly diminishing the beta.

The art dept. had literally carried WOW since WOD. And yes, it's definitely obvious WOW's budget has been cut, once again they're delivering "less" with "less" and will use the patented excuse of not enough resources or time when Shadowlands fails or proves to be mediocre (which is a fairer assessment).

And their marketing is really bad, cause they've left out a lot of content creators.

Why? Game is like 3 months away from drop. Even less. Pre-patch around October mid. WHO really wants to play "beta" now and then play it again months later?

I once lowered my standards to a point where i followed Tali on twitch to get a beta key. It was a dark time. I got over it and unfollowed again.
