Legion prepatch was announced July 15 and launched july 19
BfA prepatch was announced July 12 and launched July 17

Wouldn't expect the announcement til the week before at the earliest, but we should get the two week announcement.... two weeks before lol

Expect it 1 month from now. We have 3 episodes left for each covenant to build the hype, maybe (if they thought about it) a final episode about current shit going on in azeroth ( leaders kidnapping by Sylvanas?). 4 weeks from now you get 1 month of prepatch culminating into SL launch.

If I had to trace a deadline for my BFA goals , at this point I'd try to have all set by mid September

Not only is the expansion launching sooner than expected, but the raid is coming pretty damn quickly as well! I'm not sure whether or not that's a good thing given the state of the beta or not, but screw it, I'm in for the ride.

Also, the pre-patch event appears to have 4 phases, so 4 weeks. Fairly safe to say pre-patch is a month out. Also gives players a month to play with SL class changes, giving time to make adjustments before SL content goes live.

If they moved the release date back two weeks to the 12th/13th, we wouldn't be raiding over Christmas. They could then retain their schedule.

What's with m0? EU has 33 hours after the release of SL its first reset. Does this mean you can level up in the first 10, then do all m0 and torghast + dailies etc? Then sleep have reset and do it all over again?

I initially thought October 6 but given that the final Afterlive animation comes out September 17 it could also come out September 22/29. Depends how much questline they have for us.... after playing through the first 2 weeks on the PTR I thought 3 would be what they would go with but maybe not

/shrug, you could do that in the US if you were crazy fast too (we have like 16 hours only though)

4-6 weeks that they've already stated would be somewhere between the 15th and the 29th

Yep, 2 weeks later would've fit their previous scheduling (as in other xpacs) perfectly, but they must have a reason to want to release everything earlier other than fitting the spooky theme, lol.

Typical Blizzard how they want to unlock raids. What about to unlock normal heroic and first part of LFR?
