How are Elune and The Queen of Ardenweald, related?

Is the "Wild Hunt" just a culling of spirits to gain anima?

And if spirits are "wintering" in Ardenweald until they are reborn, then The Queen of Winter is basically a hotel/motel manager for slumbering spirits?

Budget cuts in the art department. No more videos just crayons and powerpoint slides. It's sad what's become of Blizz's art team. Plus I can't relate to random satyr #9635.
Gimme a lore figure I know not THIS abomination !

I can't be 100% certain, but I think Ara'lon is voiced by Max Mittelman who also voiced Prince Farondis in Legion.

We've had these kinds of shorts since back in MoP.

There are no budget cuts in the art department, they got more funding to do more shit than just the odd cinematic. Get a clue. And you not knowing Ursoc =/= It's not a strong feature of a known lore character as well as introduction of new ones.

Not sure why I've mixed their releases up, my bad. Those Emperor Shaohao shorts in MoP were stunning.

About the only good thing to come out of WoD's story, was those Lords of War shorts. And yes, people said "löl budget cuts" back then too as the shorts started with cutscene animation and went into the new style format.

Neither of which is just thrown together in an afternoon.

I have been wielding the Claws of Ursoc since I was able to grab them as the best thing that ever happened to me in this game and they just make a damn 6 minutes short to get rid of him for good?
Never have I been so pissed before... like seriously? This is not fun, or sad, or moving, this is despicable. I'll ask for a refund for this thing right now.

These shorts are so damn amazing. Man I can't wait for Shadowlands. Blizzard knows how to tug on the feels.

Funny just how much time people will waste on shit they hate.
You're missing the entire point of why so many are annoyed and frustrated; seeing something you are a fan of and are invested in for decades get degraded warrants such responses, even if we rationalize it as their subjective takes. They're not necessarily spending their time on something they hate. Criticism can come from a point of dedication and care, not just hate.

Easy. Any threat. There's your answer.

Drakka's training is akin to Uther's conversation with Devos or the Keeper tending his grove. Each introduces us to a problem... Groves and souls, notably Ursoc, have to be sacrificed to save the entire realm of Ardenweald. Devos sees that The Path is flawed in Bastion. There is betrayal among the houses of Maldraxxus that is threatening the defenses.

Ursoc being siphoned almost got me. And I thought the Night Fae ep would be whatever compared to Draka's and Uther's

    MUH LORE FIGURES

This is how you know people talk shit out of their asses, when they have the nerve to shit on Blizzard's art department, the only team that has been carrying the game since WoD.

    Word.

Music and art team = the teams always carrying the rest through thick and thin. The animators could do with looking at a video of how a horse is supposed to run though...

Yeah, I really hope this is what they'll do. If anything they could just bring him back again, right?

Oh, me too. I know I hated Garrosh with a passion but he's a very well known Lore character, and I don't think having him die forever would be a good thing

He died a proud death in glory, in a 3min cheap shit animated pre patch video.

    He will never be forgotten.

    Amen.

(Sorry, a bit too much of sarcasm maybe. If in doubt, ask Ursoc. Oh, wait... )

Is it endless? - Azeroth then Shadowlands then <x> then <y> then <z>?

Historically we have always had an afterlife, with the existence of astral/ghost beings interacting with us on Azeroth. However, whats unclear from the writing is if you can exist in multiple planes of existence at once?

The Uther split-soul question indicates you can, as he was trapped within the blade while also being in Shadowlands. We don't understand why he also appears as a spirit during the quest chains within WoW.

It's messy and there are a lot of questions now raised by it. Ultimately idgaf because I enjoy the game on its own, but in enjoying lore its a bit lacking in story. Originally Sylvannas's actions were bizzare but now we know she was encouraging deaths to feed them into the Maw & for the Jailers needs.
Pretty sure they already explained that souls that don't make it become anima which powers the shadowlands. With the maw taking everything currently there is a anima drought, as seen in the latest short where they euthanize Ursoc for anima.
