    Yeesh, love the threat changes, but those damage nerfs to disc just reaffirm that priests are rolled for the guild, and do not own their time in content that other classes just... do on their own. They are the only class without a relevant, functioning "by myself" spec. Enhancement's squishyness kinda puts them right behind priests in that line, but enhancement does exist so that class isn't totally helpless as a class pursuing soloable goals.

    Glad for the tank change though... but my priest is no closer to the front of the line of my 30+ alts, and that's sad. My priest was born to be venthyr, but that transmog will be unlocked by my warlock because, well... warlocks have a "me time" game and priests don't.

    when they start going with the "increased all damage abilities by x%" it usually means they have no clue how to fix a class in a timely fashion and this is what you'll get for the next 4 to 6 months and like it.

    Wth with the prot pally nerfs literally two weeks before new expac =.= Why nerf prot when brm and vdh and even bdk are arguably better.

    I can say that the Fury and Arms buffs feel right. The specs feel pretty good but the numbers sucked.

    Priest (Disc) nerfs though, not sure what’s going on with that.

    Disc Priest: We give you 3 more buttons to press (Mind Blast, SWD etc), then nerf your overall dmg to compensate.
    In the end you will do the same dmg as before with more keybindings.
    Way to go blizzard

    Disc Priest is the only healer that can either
    heal the group ( via dmg )
    OR
    the tank ( with flash heals etc)

    He can't do both.

    So hes already at an disadvantage and pretty much crap without 200% haste.
    More buttons dont really help him, cuz hes global cd capped anyway.

    Plus, PWD: Radiance costs 7% mana and when you have to flash heal PWD R is 100% wasted, because it relies on you doing dmg CASTS afterwards.
    IMHO disc priest should get Circle of Healing or Prayer of Healing for 5 man content, so he's not totally reliant on atonements.

    You're so smart... Not. Aura tuning means that the spec play-wise is in the spot where they want it to be. Now they only tune numbers, if they think that spec is under or over performing in some areas.

    I always thought it meant the class is actually in a pretty good spot and those are the macro dials they're final tuning....

    I don't get the armor nerf at all, but the damage changes feels justified. My Prot was doing like 70-75% of the damage of my Ret in PvE, and I'm talking single target. SOTR is very spammable now with holy power, 100% uptime is very obtainable now, so that might be why the ability has to be weaker since it's effectively an always-on maintenance buff now.

    Balance changes in prepatch? It's kinda late based on prepatch launch, but also pointless given Shadowlands is coming out so soon.

    Lmao, on my bm hunter most of my damage was coming from cobra spam.
