Spires of Ascension

Kin-Tara
While kyrian aspirants had to wait patiently during the anima drought for their overdue ascension, the Forsworn have been unafraid to grant their faithful wings. Kin-Tara proved herself to the dark kyrian and learned to dominate the sky as soon as she ascended. While she stands, the Spires of Ascension will belong to Devos.

  • Overview - Kin-Tara and her companion, Azules defend the rear of the Forsworn forces. Kin-Tara will periodically take to the air and unleash Charged Spears before returning to the ground to resume her assault. When either Azule or Kin-Tara are slain, the remaining companion Enrages, unlocking new abilities.
    • Tanks -
      • Kin-Tara uses Overhead Slash at 100 energy, inflicting a large amount of damage to all players in front of her.
      • Charged Spear inflicts a high amount of damage to all players near the impact.
    • Healers -
      • Kin-Tara uses Overhead Slash at 100 energy, inflicting a large amount of damage to all players in front of her.
      • Charged Spear inflicts a high amount of damage to all players near the impact.
    • Damage Dealers -
      • Charged Spear inflicts a high amount of damage to all players near the impact.
  • Enrage - When either combatant dies, their remaining ally enrages, increasing their damage dealt by 30% and unlocking new abilities.
  • Kin-Tara -
    • Deep Connection - The bond between Kin-Tara and Azules manifests as a beam of energy. Any player caught in the beam suffers 2 Arcane damage every 1 sec. for 10 sec.
      This effect stacks.
    • Overhead Slash - Kin-Tara slashes out, inflicting a massive amount of Physical damage to all players in front of her.
    • Dark Lance - Kin-Tara hurls lances of dark energy at nearby players that inflict 5 Arcane damage every 1 sec. for 10 sec.
    • Flight - Kin-Tara takes to the air, periodically hurling Charged Spears at random players.
      • Charged Spear - Kin-Tara hurls a charged spear at the target that inflicts 25 Arcane damage to all players within 5 yards of the impact and creates a zone of Ionized Plasma.
        Players standing in Ionized Plasma take 10 Arcane damage every 1 sec. and have their movement speed reduced by 1%.
  • Azoras -
    • Attenuated Barrage - Azoras fires multiple missiles of Arcane energy that inflict 40 Arcane damage to players caught in their path.
    • Maw-Touched Venom - Azuels fires several orbs in a straight line that will form pools of Maw-Touched Venom on impact.
      Players standing in these pools suffer 11 Arcane damage every1 sec.
    • Insidious Venom - Azules' venom inflicts 4 Arcane damage every 1 sec. for 10 sec.
  • Azules -

Ventunax
Ventunax is one of the deadliest Forsworn constructs, originally designed to test the courage of kyrian aspirants. The Praetorian's movements are so quick she can seem to disappear before her enemies' eyes.

  • Overview - Ventunax, the Dark Kyrian Praetor, is honed to such a razor's edge, and moves with such speed, that she leaves Shadowhirls in her wake. Avoid the Dark Bolts emitted from each Shadowhirl when Ventunax makes a move.

    When depleted of Anima energy, Ventunax takes a moment to recharge, while Shadowhirls continuously erupt.
    • Tanks -
      • Regain Ventunax's focus when she strikes at an ally with Dark Stride
    • Healers -
      • Allies are likely to take high damage when there are many Shadowhirls within the arena
    • Damage Dealers -
  • Shadowhirl - Ventunax's incredibly fast movements leave Shadowhirls in her wake.
    Each Shadowhirl emits Dark Bolts, and a burst of Dark Bolts whenever Ventunax recovers energy.
    • Dark Bolt - Each Dark Bolt from a Shadowhirl inflicts 35 Shadow damage and knocks up any players they touch.
  • Dark Stride - Moving with incredible speed, Ventunax appears behind a player and inflicts 11 Physical damage every second for 20 sec.
    Additionally, Ventunax leaves a Shadowhirl behind.
  • Blinding Flash - Ventunax creates a flash of light, stunning players within a frontal cone for 3 sec.
  • Recharge - Ventunax restores 5% energy every 0.5 sec for 10 sec.
    Additionally, all Shadowhirls erupt for 10 sec.

Oryphrion
Oryphrion is the firepower in the Paragon of Loyalty's vanguard. The Dark Colossus has dominated the invasion into the city with their Anima fueled artillery, and now fiercely defends the font of power before the Archon's seat.

  • Overview - Oryphrion spends anima to fuel their attacks. Standing in an Anima Field will empower Oryphrion and remove the anima cost of abilities.

    Once Oryphrion hits 0 anima, they become Drained and will then Recharge Anima.
  • Drained - Oryphrion is drained of Anima, their damage taken is increased by 100%, and they stop attacking to recharge.
  • Recharge Anima - Oryphrion generates 5 Anima every 1 sec. for 20 sec. In addition, all Anima Fields form into Coalesced Anima.
    • Coalesced Anima - Coalesced Anima moves back towards Oryphrion, causing Overcharged Anima if they reach Oryphrion.
      • Anima Surge - Touching Coalesced Anima causes it to burst, inflicting 15 Arcane damage to players in 0 yards.
      • Anima Surge - Touching Coalesced Anima causes it to burst, inflicting 15 Arcane damage to players in 0 yards, and 2 Arcane damage every 1 sec. for 10 sec.
      • Overcharge Anima - Oryphrion instantly energizes for 5 Anima and bursts with overcharge, inflicting 20 Arcane damage to all players.
  • Empyreal Ordnance - Oryphrion launches anima infused ordnance, inflicting 50 Arcane damage to enemies within 10 yards of the impact.
    Leaves an Anima Field behind.
    • Anima Field - The Anima Field reduces the Haste of players within it by 20% and inflicts 18 Arcane damage every 1.5 sec.

      While Oryphrion remains in an Anima Field, the anima cost for their abilities is removed and their damage done is increased by 20%.
  • Purifying Blast - Oryphrion fires their cannon towards a player, inflicting 25 Arcane damage on impact, and 8 Arcane damage every 1.5 sec. for 12 sec to players within 8 yards of the impact.
  • Charged Stomp - Oryphrion stomps their current target, inflicting 46 Arcane damage and applying Charged Anima to all players within 8 yards of the impact.
    • Charged Anima - Harmful anima charges the player's body, reducing movement speed by 30%.
    • Charged Anima - Harmful anima charges the player's body, reducing movement speed by 30% and inflicting 2 Arcane damage every 1.5 sec. for 12 sec.

Devos, Paragon of Doubt
Devos was the very symbol of loyalty until a soul with a troubling past arrived in Bastion. Her doubt overwhelmed her until she fell into open rebellion, aided by the darkest powers of the Shadowlands. Seizing the Spires of Ascension is just the first step, and the destruction of the Archon is now within her grasp.

  • Overview - Devos begins her assault on the ground with the players. Upon reaching 70% and 30% she will slam the Archon's Spear into the Anima Conduit, locking it in place, before taking to the air to control the winds. Only by collecting the Raw Anima and returning it to the Archon's Spear can it be unlocked and used to bring Devos back into fight.
    • Tanks -
      • The Archon's Spear remains locked until all orbs of Raw Anima are returned to it.
      • You must hit Devos with the Archon's Spear to bring her back down to the platform when she takes to the air.
    • Healers -
      • When Devos activates the Anima Conduit, your party will take a large amount of damage from the Unleashed Anima.
      • The party will take more damage from Lingering Doubt the longer Devos remains in the air.
      • The Archon's Spear remains locked until all orbs of Raw Anima are returned to it.
      • You must hit Devos with the Archon's Spear to bring her back down to the platform when she takes to the air.
    • Damage Dealers -
      • The Archon's Spear remains locked until all orbs of Raw Anima are returned to it.

  • Archon's Bastion - Kyrestia, the Firstborne creates a barrier that protects all players within its confines, reducing the damage taken from the next Abyssal Detonation by 90%.
  • Stage One: Head On - Players fight Devos, Paragon of Loyalty on the ground.
    • Abyssal Detonation - Devos creates a concentrated nexus of maw anima that explodes after 4 sec., inflicting 100 Arcane damage to all players within 10 yards.
    • Lost Confidence - Devos infects a random player's mind with doubt for 10 Arcane damage every 3 sec. for 15 sec. When this effect ends, a pool of Lingering Doubt forms at the victim's feet.
      Players standing in the pool of Lingering Doubt gain a stack of Lingering Doubt every 1 sec. for 30 sec.
      • Lingering Doubt - Your doubt grows within you, inflicting 1 Arcane damage every 1 sec. for 10 sec.
    • Run Through - Devos charges in a line through her target, inflicting 40 Physical damage to all players in her path.
  • Stage Two: To the Skies - Devos Activates the Anima Conduit, then takes to the skies until she is hit by the Archon's Spear.
    • Unleashed Anima - Devos activates the Anima Conduit, inflicting 30 Arcane damage to all players.
    • Raw Anima - Pick up a fragment of Raw Anima. Return it to the Anima Conduit to help unlock the Archon's Spear.
    • Archon's Spear - Hurl the Archon's Spear at Devos, inflicting 10% of her total health on a successful hit and forcing her to return to the ground once more.
    • Slipstream - Strong winds pull all players and anima off the front of the platform. While the winds persist, all players gain an application of Lingering Doubt every 6 sec.
    • Backdraft - Strong winds push all players and anima to the back of the platform. While the winds persist, all players gain an application of Lingering Doubt every 6 sec.
    • Lingering Doubt - Your doubt grows within you, inflicting 1 Arcane damage every 1 sec. for 10 sec.
