Torghast Highest Layer Now Unlocked for Alts

With a hotfix that is now live, we’ve implemented a highest-layer-sharing system for players who wish to plunder Torghast on multiple characters.

Now, when you’ve completed a Torghast layer on any character on your account, your other characters will have access to it (as long as they meet the usual requirements for Torghast).

Players who have been running Torghast regularly should now find their highest layer available on their alts. This unlock sharing can’t look back very far though, so if you haven’t run Torghast in a while, you’ll need to complete a run on your main, and you’ll then see the higher layers available on your alts.

Please note: Twisting Corridors remains separately shared to alts, and completing Twisting Corridors only will not grant access to normal layers for other characters on the account.

    SACRILEGE....Blizzard does not listen to it's player base. They just find out what you like and love and nerf it to the ground.

    Why does this need to be hotfixed? Why isnt that in the game from the beginning? Its a no brainer.

    There is a common misconception that blizz doesnt listen to the playerbase - it does, except it takes ages to have changes made. from this torghast change, m+ balances, class design, it would be great to see the changes actually happen at a faster rate, not by the time nobody cares about content.

    Yea, Torghast is totally out of date content and no one cares about it anymore. What a waste of time........

    I absolutely agree. I know it can feel tedious for some, but the fact that you pretty much get a full level in such a short span of time is a godsend regardless of how repetitive the content feels. I personally have done it all 12 times on all my characters and am just cycling through leveling my alts that have rested XP.

    I agree but I wonder how often the devs want to do something a certain way and some project manager being told what to do by higher ups cracks a whip and tells the devs to get back in line.

    That’s definately a step in the right direction. I’ve already gotten so bored with Torghast though, it needs new floors and powers regularly or it gets stale fast.

    about the damn time.. doing 3th charcter for layer to layer to layer is becoming tedious already. Good change.

    Honestly I wish the maw intro was repeatable with how fast and brainless it is

    Now just give us some reliable ways to obtain anima that aren't WQs, and we'll be golden.

    If the jailer is stealing and hoarding all the anima, then why doesn't torghast award any? If the lore says covenants can't give us anima in callings, then the lore should also be saying that torghast is where all the anima can be found. Either the lore reason>the mechanical reason or it isn't, can't have it both ways.
