They should have included the OSV-03 Rogue as a mount for WoW as well. Now THAT would have been an incentive for me to buy a pack.

yeah its 5$ more then a sub, but only gives a sub, so its 100% not worth if you only play wow, but if you play any of the other games its mad worth.

If I say I’m going to save x amount for emergencies, x for retirement, and x for a rainy day I’m going to do it. Not going to repurpose that money to spend on a hobby. Blizzard definitely see the suckers coming from a mile away when they sell something that is a miniscule part of a real 60 dollar game. These items will be forgotten in a month and what experiences will they provide? none, no thank you, I would much rather buy a game off Steam that can give me 100s of hours of experiences that I will remember fondly. but if for example blizz started selling subs for 5$ and said "15$ value!"
we have had that for 16 years at this point. it very much IS a 15$ value, and it would just break the sub pricing, cause people would buy years worth of 5$ sub time, and anyone who missed it would be pissed off, like how people still cry about not having gotten to abuse the garrisons gold making.

these packs are worth far more then they cost if you actually want all the stuff inside, this is not the typical thing you see on late night informercials of "50$ value for only 15$!" no, cause they say its a 50$ value, but they have never actually sold it at that price, this stuff has been sold for 16+ years so it has a defined value.




A sub is technically a 0$ value, as there is no value to it, but it has been a thing for 16 years at 15$ so that sets it at a 15$ value.


No, it is not a "60$ worth of value because blizzard says it is" it is a 60$ value because it IS a 60$ value.

a 5$ bill is not worth 5$ because someone says its worth 5$, it is worth 5$ because it has an active history of many years that PROVES it is a 5$ value.

Hearthstone packs=18.75$
wow pet= 10$
overwatch icon/spray= about 1.50$
diablo pet= 3$
tracer= 5$
3 mounts=15$

if i wanted to buy all that RIGHT NOW it would cost
53.25$

so the pack costs 27$ and ends up being valued at 53.25$
and guess what that does actually mean something, because that is a reduced price on things you can actually buy.
and this only increases as you go up the pack sizes.


Yes these things are virtually worth nothing as they are literally just pixels, but guess what, these pixels have had a value set to them over 16+ years, so they have gained a value, especially since you can exchange these pixels for real value.
