I imagine the mount is for Retail and not for tbc classic.

I'm glad for the boost though definitely has me excited for jumping into tbc classic where as i skipped vanilla classic altogether.

I've always wanted the Dark Portal hearthstone, I hope that's the Dark Portal Toy.

Warp stalkers were said to have been used as mounts by the Legion way back in TBC, always kind of surprised they were never made into one.

Don't think there's a mount skeleton at present that really works for it though. Makes me wonder what it'll use. I'm thinking the basilisk skeleton.

Yay, time to make the Dark Portal hearthstone welfare too. Spectral Tiger next?.

Oh gawd I hope they're bringing back an easy way to get the Dark Portal hearthstone. I'd use that instead of my Headless Horseman hearth.

While I personally wouldn’t phrase it this harshly... it was definitely a “sad trombone” ending to an otherwise promising first look!

the sad part is that in place of having all hands on deck to finish 9.1 they pending dev money and time on TBC something they release years ago and is completely available in retail right now to play if you really want to!

The mount thing is kind of funny. The drama is already in full swing at this point, always interesting to see.

I still think there might be some other explanation than just store mounts for TBC classic. Sounds a bit bizarre to do that considering how the audience for classicc expacs is. Maybe China exclusive?

Digital tabletop is a thing and they are becoming more and more popular. Especially now when so many had to go from regular irl sessions to online sessions due to corona. Even discord have dedicated channels to find d&d campaigns(pugs). Me and a few guildies play d&d every weekend over discord and a virtual table top

Hmm I figured Metzen would be working on a table top miniatures game akin to wankhammer tbh, so a 5e source book is actually quite the welcome surprise. That they as a registered company with trademarks and a millionaire at the helm do a kickstarter for it though .. yea that is kinda lame. Since I didn't play ADnD with them in the 90's I don't really know if their world is worth it, so they'll have to do alot more to convince me. The way he phrased it they already have it done as well, so why do they need a kickstarter exactly? Just for the print?

Most likely will be part of the boost package we already know about.

They sold a physical "Collectors Edition " of wow classic with the rag statue. No different then that I imagine. There will probably be multiple "bundles" some with mounts, game time...whatever they can monetize.

No, it's a paid upgrade, probably comes with the level boost. They already said BC was free with a sub.

Path of Illidan and Dark Portal were old TCG loot cards.

These things could also be a reward for the people who already have the collectors edition from way back when rather than a new purchase, guess we'll see. I'd be surprised if we're not gonna be able to buy them though, for retail or tbc.
