It made me unsub from the World of Warcraft channel due to the stupid amount of spam videos about Arena and MDI, and yes they are spam when I have no way of stopping them from hitting my feed.

if I had to guess, they are committed to finish the season(s) they have planned. Its not a success at ALL. I think arena pvp is even less popular now than ever before.

I remember when I used to watch arena matches on twitch, back when reckful was trashing everyone on his Rogue. Cant quite pinpoint when Arena turned to trash but I do miss the fun matches and clutch wins.

maybe they lack personalities? Reckful certainly was one. very cool.

My personal reasons are that I cant really follow whats going on. Theres to much happening and the commentators just scream and talk really fast most of the game, something they are just forced to do. Theres not really any point in a match were its "slowed down" or anything.

I like watching SC2 the most, cause there its easier to follow whats happening. That said, its not a popular esport to watch for some weird reason. Its a great game, especially for esports.

I have also always wondered why rated BGs aint big in esport scene. Its much easier to follow, much easier to understand. Grab that flag, hold this base. I dont need to know every little spell each and every class/spec has, and I dont need to know what every gear piece they have on does and doesnt do.

WoW just isn't that interesting to watch. There is almost zero counter play or different ways matches can happen at that level. Games like LoL are popular because of much the game can change based on choices.

Yep, I am one of the (very few) people that still watch it. It's more of a habit as I used to care about WoW pvp a lot, but I think it's clear that it never really has been a huge success and definitely never will be.

Is it me or is the first thumbnail that uses in-game models instead of unattractive looking people?

Fun tourney, very happy to see non-damp rogue games! Also there was a lot of comp variety especially from a healer PoV.

Also a lot of viewers come from twitch streams to support their favorite players. You should try some PVP and see how good you actually are instead of bashing others who put time and effort into it. wow arena isnt flashy but its still a decent watch. Hard to compare to a sick ace clutch like in csgo or a 2v1 outplay in league but it has its merits. No reason not to continue it given how little money it probably takes to run the circuit. funny to see all the hard stuck 1400 players complain about its existence is pretty funny though
