Kael'thas Sunstrider New Voice Actor
Kael'thas Sunstrider has received new voice lines recorded by a different voice actor on Patch 9.1 PTR. All voice lines from Shadowlands as well as those from Burning Crusade have been completely replaced. It is currently unknown why the voice actor has been changed, although it's speculated that this might be a result of the allegations against Quinton Flynn, the original actor of Kael'thas Sunstrider.

Patch 9.1 Mythic+ Scoring System
Raider.IO has announced that Blizzard will implement a Mythic+ Scoring System in Patch 9.1. The system will be designed in a similar way to how the current scoring system works, and will be incorporated into the Raider.IO website.

Blizzard will be implementing a core Raider.IO feature: Mythic+ Scores! We have been both an advocate and the primary driver of Mythic+ Scores in the community since we started tracking Mythic+ over 4 years ago, so we're flattered that Blizzard is acknowledging how important this system has become by adding it directly into World of Warcraft.

The WoW development team has been in contact with us on this new Mythic+ scoring system, and they've expressed that they have designed theirs in a very similar way to how the Raider.IO Mythic+ Scoring system works.

We're eager to bring you deeper coverage of this system, including exactly how it works, and how it will be incorporated into Raider.IO - once the feature is live on the PTR.

We look forward to continuing to provide the community with the high quality features, content, and events that you've always come to expect from us!

He was one of my favorite voice actors in WoW along with Illidan.

I don’t see how removing decade old audio recordings in favor of sub-par replacements does anything to better society.

A vast majority of the people who compose our societies are evil shitbags and we don’t cancel them, instead we glorify them. But then sex comes along and everybody loses their marbles. As if we weren’t the pornhub generation where complete depravity is now a virtue.

It’s just hypocrisy at its finest and a breeding ground for mental illness. Schizophrenic soceity of monsters trying to play saints. Hard to believe so few people realize this is actually Hell. Yes, you read that correctly. You’re (spiritually) dead and this is Hell.

    From what I’ve read:

Dude flirts with women who seem to like him.

Women get offended, because he’s old and unattractive, so therefore it’s “creepy”

    Women make sexual harassment claims.

    None hold up on court.

Dude gets his reputation and career ruined and now Blizzard goes through all the effort to re-record his voice over from old recordings?

    Crazy town.

I mean blizzard didn’t take any legal action legal power is irrelevant to rather they want to stop working with/show casing some one they find distasteful.

    It’s a not a legal problem, it’s a cultural problem.

We now live in a society where virtue is derived just from virtue-signaling and pandering to the ignorant masses in whatever way is currently politically popular.

Too bad drastic actions can’t be taken against people who show themselves to be slime balls ethically or financially. Nope. Only sex matters. Cause sex is apparently the only thing everybody agrees is evil while they watch their “white babe gets wrecked by six black bulls” on PH, aka the only cool place to be a perv.

It’s all just a total fucking joke and shows how easily the drooling unthinking masses are manipulated all day long.

The way it read to me was just that he used his fame (meager though it is) to be a sleazy womanizer. Is it a crime? No. But it's pretty gross to use a position of power and/or influence to indulge in that type of behavior. Blizzard is well within their right to not want to support a person like that. One might say "well, that's his private life", but at the same time its his work with companies like Blizzard that put him in a position to be a creep and target more women.

That's my take on this particular person/case. I know there were also allegations of illegal behavior, and while those allegations may also have influenced Blizzard's decision I think their actions are well within reason based solely on the stories that seem to ring true. If a guy wants to have sex with a bunch of women, that's fine by me. If he's using a position that I put him in to do that, then I'd probably fire him as well.

We have always lived in such a society it’s just that the hot button issue changes with time.

Jump some years back and you have vets being “canceled” for fighting in nam and being unable to find work.

Jump further back and you have people being “canceled” for dating the wrong person.

Go even further back and, well the “canceling” gets a lot bloodier.

The hot topic issue might change but it’s the same for for all of human history.

We also live in a society where the laws cannot keep up with the changing times and law enforcement is pretty much helpless in many situations.

It's amazing to me how so many actors and celebrities have no problems avoiding controversy like this but people want to whine about cancel culture on some poor bastard who has shown bad behavior.

We live in a society that is in the year 2021 and this social media shit has been going on for over a decade. Time for a very small minority of actors / actresses to learn to act respectful when they're public figures.

Yeah, not sure why these people hate capitalism so much.

I'm amazed at how many people are going to bat for a guy that's potentially a sleazeball just because they like the way his voice sounds. If Blizzard or any other company that has hired him to do voice work decides they don't want their product associated with him anymore in case he actually is a sleazeball why is that a problem? It's not like they're un-paying him for work he did all those years ago. He's not losing anything by having his old voice lines that he's already been paid for removed from a video game.

Anyway I'll be interested in seeing if this new M+ scoring system takes off or if people use a third party option.

This is why PC culture needs to chill tf down.

I never get it how can people try to thing that deleting all of any good a human has done, because of a wrong he has done it is a smart thing.
The fking smart thing is to take everything good in life and try to dodge everything wrong.

I am always trying to think what will it happen if Thomas Edison was found of doing some weird PC cultura wrong sht, what will we do, use candles for the rest of our lifes ?

Human nature in its core has some rotten seeds, and if we don't know the weird things/stuff a human is thinking or doing, doesn't mean that human is perfect.

sexual harassment doesnt always imply legal consequences, this is more about optics, blizzard just doesnt want to be seen to be associated with a slimebag

The theme of the westerns world today, is basically crying. We've set the time back at least 2000 years, where you couldn't say "yes, I'm the son of god" without getting nailed to a cross.
So if education and information at our fingertip won't help our sorry asses, only war seems to reset our minds and make us ask wtf are we doing?
