Dungeons and Raids

  • Sanguine Depths
    • [With regional restarts] Dark Acolyte’s Dark Bolt cast time increased to 2 seconds (was 1.5 seconds).
    • [With regional restarts] Chamber Sentinel’s Craggy Fracture damage reduced by 20%, is cast less frequently, and now targets fewer players.
    • [With regional restarts] Za’rali’s Shining Radiance now removes all bleed effects, including Severing Slice and Grievous (Affix). The tooltip will be updated in a future patch to reflect this change.
    • [With regional restarts] Fixed an issue where Sinfall Boon’s buff increased from killing non-combat creatures.
    • Grand Proctor Beryllia
      • Fixed an issue that caused Endless Torment to be cast multiple times in a row.
    • General Kaal
      • [With regional restarts] Reduced the periodic damage of Wicked Gash by 33%.
  • Spires of Ascension
    • Devos
      • Fixed an issue where throwing a spear at Devos would fail to register a hit when it looked like it should.

    How has it taken this long for the devos issue to be fixed. It was an especially egregious issue that fucked so many of my M+ runs!

    Beryllia casting Endless Torment twice in a row in higher keys on Grievous weeks was a ticket to a free dead key. Wonder why it took them so fucking long to realize this issue with spell queuing?

    Surprised they're nerfing it this late into the run. Figured at this point there wouldn't be any more changes until season 2, if at all.

    Perhaps instead of it taking them "so fucking long" to realise it was an issue, it just takes that long to correct the issue without breaking a whole bunch of other shit? I've seen infinitely less complex IT systems that are <5 years old take longer to fix critical errors than it takes Blizzard to hotfix "nice to have" changes into a 16+ year old video game engine.

    Duh, sorry but fixing that bug should be trivial. I never saw it as a bug anyway. So what she casts stuff 2 times in a row.

    Adding a cooldown to an ability is not rocket science. But it rarely happened and nobody complained I guess.

    To me the most annoying rng dungeons are still spires and plaguefall.

    Spires 2nd boss and the spear guys at the end are just absolute cancer in random groups with low dps.
    Same goes for our favourite dance boss stradama.

    Now they only need to fix the bug that disconnects you when you throw the spear, making the dungeon impossible to finish.

    Now, if only they could add some way to repair your gear when inside the instance... like allowing you to mount in the sections of the dungeon that are actually outdoors like where the first boss is or the platform of last boss.

    I always carry a bunch of these on every char.

    I know about those and I usually try to carry a few with me but since SD is the only place I ever need them I end up forgetting to restock more often that I would like.

    Yah, pretty stupid annoying that you cant repair with the mounts like everywhere else.


    That being said...

    I did get my 15sd this week. It wasnt as bad as i remembered, even with a shammy dps that just kept dying to everything. I was afraid i wouldnt even be able to find one cuz nobody likes SD.


    However, the real nerfs should be like...
    1. Reduce the aoe damage happening on the Torturer boss
    2. Reduce the damage of castigate

    He's really punishing a lot of the time. Oh, and remove the dang "Silence" curse. WTF is that?

    They need to fix the whole disconnect issues when the char hits a pixel in a way that the game doesn't like.

    Plaguefall is the only dungeon that I cannot stand. I hate that place. Even more, I hate the first boss. I feel like if you don't have the right class comp then he will be a nightmare to kill on higher keys.

    This happens to me like 50% of the time when I jump to Stradama's area in plaguefall. It also happens to me if i jump off the flight platform to the main area of Heart of the Forest, almost 90% of the time.
