Retail gets high-res Warp Stalker, Classic gets low-res Warp Stalker.

Burning Crusade had TCG loot. Lots of it. Tabards, shirts, pets, mounts, toys.

As far as I'm concerned, that makes store items fair game.

TCG mounts in BC: Riding Turtle, Spectral Tiger, X-51 Nether Rocket, Big Battle Bear, Magic Rooster Egg

Even in recent expansions we don't get that many "paid mounts" -- and in present expansions you can actually exchange gold for store items via WoW Tokens making them all earnable in-game.

I'm sure someone will be surprised by that revelation.

Not really sure why you're listing TCG mounts like it's relevant, I don't like them either. Until the mounts or everything in the shop is earnable through in-game means (not buying a token with gold that costs $20 from someone else) I don't see any reason to stop complaining.

So does that mean TBC deluxe gets you a mount for SL as well? I guess I'll probably have to consider it now :P

Why don't they just add the cash shop already? We all know they want to do it.

To clarify, all those mounts and toys shown there are exclusive to TBC classic only and aren't usable on retail
as a reward for ordering it?

Imagine not being able to buy shit in game with gold and buying wow tokens with said gold to get the deluxe edition... OH WAIT!

What part of "earned through the game" doesn't make sense for you? WoW Tokens go through a real-life transaction, someone else pays $20 to get the gold.

I can't see how giving history to something ruins it. Frostmourne in the Lich King era would still be, and as far as I know Frostmourne just popped up in a cave. Exploring how it came to be surely can't do it a disservice?

*shrug* doesn't matter does it? You have to pay for your electricity, food, and drink to be able to live and play the game If you want to try dragging your fists arguing semantics.

Any additional context necessarily changes the thing you're recontextualizing for better or for worse. But I guess the damage is already done when it comes to Frostmourne.

I do not know what is more regrettable, that Varian has died, or that they have sullied the great shalamayne, the sword that should be the iconic warrior's weapon par excellence ...... and, while, somewhere, there is a paladin Laughing with silly laughter with his ashbringer .... how painful.the oena does not need to play with warrior, better to play with paladin, but at least they have their iconic weapon that makes them authentic, not like the ignored warriors ....

Are you just completely blanking out the $20 part? Do you understand what I mean by "available in game"?

If you're hoping to come off as mature you're doing a terrible job.

Yes, because when I played WoW the stuff on the Store was Available in game. It's kind of the point of it being there.

I was more trying to come of as condescending. I'll try harder next time bucko.

At this point, I can not understand why would anyone play 9.1 further than the story, instead of going into BC classic. It is far more interesting, even if it is old content.
