So we can clear tg now by rez spamming at the final boss? Hmm kay.
So the real bosses of tg will now be the end of floor mini boss?

Sigh. Making Torghast more like M+ just reduces options for players even further.

Stop it with the "Go! Go! Go!" nonsense in the game. Not everything needs to be this way.

Torghast starts to sound fun again after the huge nerfs it got. Probably gonna be nerfed heavily again after people crying about not being able to get a good rating...

    how does that work?

    it's 4 floors + 1 empty vendor floor + 1 boss only floor atm.

are they just gonna put the vendor in a regular floor or actually cutting a full regular floor?
I did torghast today in the ptr, vendor is on 3rd floor, then you have 4th floor and the final boss in the 5th floor. So it's 3 floors (1st, 2nd and 4th) with mobs, one with just the vendor and another one with just the final boss.

Shadow is getting nerfed with the devouring plague changes, not to mention nerfing our top 2 legendaries.

That's all the notes you need.
You said basically the same thing, but got an actual response. Well thanks, he at least said what he actually wanted: assassination buff. He mentions raids, but isn't assassination in the top 5 dps specs. Aren't the other 4 getting nerfed/ rebalanced to remove their outlier damage abilities? Isn't that going to likely move assassination up the rankings next tier?

My guess is the intention was around 10%/dot for Shadowbolt and 13% for drainsoul. Something along that line

That's really not adressing the issue with torghast. The problem was that you got bugger all for spending an hour in there if you couldn't beat the last boss (which was affected by luck). The changes try - in typical blizzard fashion - to adress this by moonwalking 20 steps back, 3 to the side and one forward, instead of just giving smaller rewards along the way. Neither the change to the death system nor the gogogo bullshit were needed here. An unnerfed torghast would have not been a problem if torghast had remained not shackled to the gear progression to the degree it was. It was essentially gimped to the point where it was a lesser version of visions that lacked the solo iLvl progression gradual reward structure. Not to mention a few key features that make rogue-likes interesting in the first place, like bringing something back even on a failed run to make your next one better.

I will play 9.1 since I will be subbed for TBC, but I am not planning on wasting any second on Torghast or the new Maw area. I will just clear the new raid which is very promising I think.

Just watched Preach's video about the "new" Torghast and couldn't stop laughing.. he is so right. Putting in torments is a stupid idea. Don't make Torghast artificially "harder" with M+ style affixes. Instead make it more fun and ridiculous.
Not a big fan of the timer either... why has almost everything to be about speed or chainpulling these days.

Patch 9.1 - Chains of Domination - Chapter 6 and 7. The next patch the main quest chapter numbering starts over from 1, instead of continuing with chapter 10 of the previous main quest format.
