Patch 9.1 is going live today in North America. Here is what you can expect on launch day as well as in the weeks to come!

Miscellaneous Highlights
  • Korthian Armaments - Korthian Catch-Up Gear
    • Item level 200 catch-up gear found in Korthia
      • Rewarded from certain daily quests.
      • Purchased for 1000 stygia each from the new Death's Advance reputation quartermaster in Korthia.
      • Dropped from rares in Korthia or from chests.
    • Can be upgraded 6 times to a final item level of 233 by spending Cataloged Research, a new currency earned by activities in Korthia.
  • Players who find themselves behind in Renown will now have an increased chance to receive Renown as a reward from all relevant activities.
  • Changing to a new Covenant will now refill your available Conduit Energy.
  • Each shoulder can now be transmogrified separately.
  • Kiatke, the Cataclysm Timewalking vendor, now sells several unavailable classic recipes.
  • Newly created Helm, Neck, Bracer, Belt and Ring Runecarving armor pieces will now always be created with a socket.
  • Permanently remove the Eye of the Jailer effect by completing the quest, "Focusing the Eye."
  • Unlock riding ground mounts in The Maw and Korthia by completing the introductory storyline to Korthia.

Covenant Assaults
Covenant Assaults are a new bi-weekly activity found in the Maw that function identically to the minor assaults found in Visions of N'Zoth.

New Zone - Korthia, The City of Secrets
Korthia, the City of Secrets is a new zone added into the Maw in Chains of Domination. It provides new daily challenges, quests, rewards, and catch up mechanics as well as serving as the main location for progressing the main campaign! Unlock Flying in Shadowlands
Players will be able to unlock flying in the initial Shadowlands zones by progressing the main campaign in Chains of Domination. Flying will be locked account wide for all zones, but the Maw will still only allow ground mounts. Learn more by clicking the banner below!



Sanctum of Domination Raid Preview
Sanctum of Domination launches July 6 in NA (July 7 in EU) and brings 10 new boss encounters on Normal and Heroic. Mythic and Raid Finder Week 1 unlock seven days later, with the weekly reset. Check out our previews below for boss abilities, loot and more!









Shadowlands Season 2 Mythic+ and PvP

Shadowlands Season 2 begins on July 6. With the new season, you'll see increased item levels for rewards, new seasonal rewards for PvP include a new Arena title: Unchained Gladiator, a new weapon illusion, new coloration of the Gladiator mount, and new Vicious mounts—Alliance and Horde-themed Gorm.

The new seasonal Mythic+ dungeon affix is Tormented: Servants of the Jailer can be found throughout the dungeon and grant powerful boons when defeated. If a servant is not dealt with, they empower the final boss. New seasonal rewards for Mythic+ include a new title: the Tormented and a new coloration of the Mythic+ Deathwalker mount.

Additionally, Layer 10 in Torghast, Tower of the Damned, Tazavesh, the Veiled Market mega-dungeon and Sanctum of Domination on Normal and Heroic difficulties will all become available. On July 13, Sanctum of Domination on Mythic and Raid Finder Wing 1 difficulties will become available.

    For all the hardcore pvp noobs out there hardstuck at 1400 rating (like myself, ROFLMAO)
    You can get renown 43 today
    And with that renown you can upgrade unranked Honor PvP gear to 216 item level (in pvp situations)

    Is neckbeard time...ima bout to go DEEP on random BGs bruh

    let me guess, we still won't know why Sylvanas is doing what she's doing or what happens to her after the boss fight. Maybe we'll find out next expansion if we're lucky.

    Ridiculous patch not many are excited for. Blizzard needs a new team.

    So... will we be getting a covenant campaign along with this or did they just fuse the story into one as to cut yet another corner of content? Or are we getting the main campaign AND the covenant campaigns?
