Patch 9.1 - Shadowlands Season 2 Live This Week!
Shadowlands season 2 officially kicks off today on NA servers with the release of the new raid Sanctum of Domination on normal/heroic and more.

Update: NA servers are now online!

What is Coming This Week?
  • Flying in Shadowlands
  • Sanctum of Domination Raid
    • July 6 – Normal and Heroic Difficulties
    • July 13 – Raid Finder Wing 1 and Mythic Difficulties (The Tarragrue, The Eye of the Jailer, The Nine)
    • July 27 – Raid Finder Wing 2 (Soulrender Dormazain, Remnant of Ner’zhul, and Painsmith Raznal)
    • August 10 – Raid Finder Wing 3 (Guardian of the First Ones, Fatescribe Roh-Kalo, and Kel’Thuzad)
    • August 24 – Raid Finder Wing 4 (Sylvanas Windrunner)

  • Tazavesh, the Veiled Market

Unlock Flying in Shadowlands
Players will be able to unlock flying in the initial Shadowlands zones by progressing the main campaign in Chains of Domination. Flying will be locked account wide for all zones, but the Maw will still only allow ground mounts. Learn more by clicking the banner below!



Sanctum of Domination Raid Preview
Sanctum of Domination launches July 6 in NA (July 7 in EU) and brings 10 new boss encounters on Normal and Heroic. Mythic and Raid Finder Week 1 unlock seven days later, with the weekly reset. Check out our previews below for boss abilities, loot and more!









Shadowlands Season 2 Mythic+ and PvP

Shadowlands Season 2 begins on July 6. With the new season, you'll see increased item levels for rewards, new seasonal rewards for PvP include a new Arena title: Unchained Gladiator, a new weapon illusion, new coloration of the Gladiator mount, and new Vicious mounts—Alliance and Horde-themed Gorm.

The new seasonal Mythic+ dungeon affix is Tormented: Servants of the Jailer can be found throughout the dungeon and grant powerful boons when defeated. If a servant is not dealt with, they empower the final boss. New seasonal rewards for Mythic+ include a new title: the Tormented and a new coloration of the Mythic+ Deathwalker mount.

Additionally, Layer 10 in Torghast, Tower of the Damned, Tazavesh, the Veiled Market mega-dungeon and Sanctum of Domination on Normal and Heroic difficulties will all become available. On July 13, Sanctum of Domination on Mythic and Raid Finder Wing 1 difficulties will become available.

    I was actually expecting each covenant to grant wings for a "mount" prior to Blizzconline showing the covenant mounts.

    Each covenant has one ready to go, really.

    Kyrian have the angel wings, Necrolords the bone ones, Night Fae have the fae wings (you get them in a few world quests), and Venthyr could have the large Stoneborn/Gargoyle wings.

    All three covenants have some wing model that would make for neat mounts, but I knew as soon as I had the thought that it wouldn't happen.

    There's a content drought across all of the Shadowlands. Check your Covenant Sanctum where you can turn in 1,000 Content per week, plus use Content to buy mogs, mounts, and pets!

    So Painsmith Raznal is the genius trap smith that put a vertical line of floor spikes with lanes in between, while the character was already walking vertically. Wondering who was responsible for that mind numbing trap…it was tough one.

    Me neither. Especially after a seven month content gap. But just you wait. A few minutes and you will have an army of spergs spewing that LFR doesn't matter cause it is for losers.

    This is nornal in fiction when they want to depict tactical geniuses. Spoiler alert: most writers aren't tactical geniuses, so they will fail at it.

    This is why this community saddens me each day even more. The most common answer to any idea is "no". I don't want to dwell on why you don't like this idea, but if you don't like it, you could just not use it. Other people that would found it fun could. How this community be seen as anything but toxic if every (I'm obviously exaggerating) idea is being shunned?

    I believe its so those that do LFR don't complete the raid before guilds/groups that actually run it on at least normal do. LFR of course isn't as tough as even normal but they have gotten better with most of the bosses having the same mechanics in LFR that they have in Normal.

    "Hey, if you don't like blizz selling pre geared characters on their store, you can just not buy it". Stop using that "amazing" logic.

    There was nothing about the item from the store (I have mixed feelings about it's existence in general) but an idea to "give" a mount in form of Kyrian Wings. We can only assume in what form it should be "given" and that it could be earned in game. Adding such idea is nothing as fundamental as "remove mythic raiding" so tell me why are you denying somebody else some fun that would not affect you at all?
