Legion Paragon Boxes Bad Luck Protection System
Reddit user kr3b5 has stocked up on Legion Reputation Tokens and used them in Patch 9.1.5 with the combined 27% reputation buff from Pilgrim's Bounty and WoW's 17th Anniversary, in order to get several Paragon Boxes.


Opening these boxes rewarded him with the paragon mounts and toy that he needed to complete the collection, however a few more showed up in the mailbox.

Legion Paragon Boxes - Rewards

• 9x Gleaming Footlocker - 9x Blessed Felcrusher
• 13x Warden's Supply Kit - 6x Sira's Extra Cloak
• 7x Dreamweaver Cache - 7x Wild Dreamrunner
• 9x Highmountain Supplies - 9x Highmountain Elderhorn

Judging by the number of rewards that dropped and the fact that they were guaranteed drops from further opening more paragon boxes, it is very likely that Blizzard stealthily introduced a bad luck protection system to Legion Paragon Boxes in Patch 9.1.5.

• This bad luck protection system seems to make the rewards guaranteed drops after opening several Legion Paragon Boxes (increasing the drop chance of mounts and toys with each opening, from 5% up to 100%).
• This new system looks to be retroactive, counting the number of paragon boxes opened in the past.
• The change to the Legion Paragon Boxes is similar to how the Battle for Azeroth Paragon Boxes got changed to have an increased drop chance of Rank 4 Essences with each opening.

Please note that nothing is 100% confirmed yet, hopefully Blizzard shares more about this potential change soon.

Sephuz Leaves Blizzard Entertainment
John "Sephuz" Yang announced his departure from Blizzard Entertainment last week.

• Sephuz first joined Blizzard in 2011 as a test analyst and later became involved in the development of Diablo 3, working on the Barbarian, Demon Hunter and the Witch Doctor classes through Reaper of Souls.
• In World of Warcraft, he worked on designing abilities, talents, and items for all classes, and lead the design of the Legendary Items in Legion and the Essence System in Battle for Azeroth.
• In Hearthstone, he led the design of systems and features such as the progression system, rewards, quests, battle pass, new and returning player experience, ranked modes, matchmaking, achievements, and social.
• His last work at Blizzard as a Lead System Designer is on an unannounced game, which we'll hopefully hear more about next year. Meanwhile, we wish John Yang all the best on his next journey!

References to Sephuz can be found in both Diablo and World of Warcraft: Yang's Recurve, Yang's Other Recurve, Memory of Sephuz and Sephuz's Secret. Although Sephuz named the legendary ring after himself, it was actually the last item that he needed in order to complete his collection!

Pilgrim's Bounty 2021
Pilgrim's Bounty is live from November 23 to November 30 and with it comes a time to reflect upon one's good fortune and share feasts with everyone around you!

The Spirit of Sharing
The main area where the festivities take place is right outside the capital cities for the Horde and Alliance and in a couple of smaller towns.

• Players can interact with the many foods options set on these tables and will gain a buff by eating or passing each of the servings.
• There are 5 buffs in total, and getting all of them will reward The Spirit of Sharing buff which grants a 10% increase in reputation gains for one hour.

Turkey Soul Crittershape
New in 2021 - Players in the Night Fae Covenant can unlock the Turkey Soul Crittershape.

• Eat each food on the table five times to get The Spirit of Sharing buff.
• Eat each of the servings one more time and then leave the chair.
• Accept the quest Turkey Soul and deliver it to Choofa in the Heart of the Forest.

Ember Court Reputation Buff
New in 2021 - During Pilgrim's Bounty, players can eat Theotar's Neverending Feast to increase the guests' happiness and friendship gains.



Cooking
Pilgrim's Bounty is centered around cooking and there are 5 recipes to add to your cooking collection. All you need to do is buy the Bountiful Cookbook from Bountiful Barrel located at each capital city table to learn them. The recipes are used for several quests, dailies, and the Now We're Cookin' achievement related to the holiday.

• Slow-Roasted Turkey

Cosmetic Items
5 daily quests can be found around the bountiful tables at capital cities that award a piece of the Pilgrim's set or a Pilgrim's Bounty cache.

• The cache can contain the Fine Pilgrim's Hat, the Frightened Bush Chicken battle pet and the Silver-Plated Turkey Shooter toy, along with several consumable foods and turkey shooters.
• The quests are centered around cooking so having at least a 280 skill level will help but if you do not have the skill level, you can buy the items needed from Bountiful Barrel at each capital city table.

Pilgrim's Bounty Cache Drops

• Fine Pilgrim's Hat - Transmoggable year-round.
• Frightened Bush Chicken - Teaches Bush Chicken.
• Silver-Plated Turkey Shooter - Covers target with turkey feathers.

Achievements
There are 9 achievements for the Pilgrim's Bounty holiday, 7 required for the meta achievement Pilgrim that will award you with the title the Pilgrim along with the Plump Turkey battle pet and 2 that are separate.

Do note that Pilgrim is not required to complete the What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been meta achievement for the Violet Proto-Drake.



Pilgrim Achievements

• “FOOD FIGHT”- Bounce food off a player at a Bountiful Table.
• Now We're Cookin' - Cook up one of every Pilgrim's Bounty dish.
• Pilgrim's Paunch - Acquire the Spirit of Sharing from a complete Bountiful Table feast at every capital of your faction.
• Sharing is Caring - Pass one of every dish at a Bountiful Table.
• Terokkar Turkey Time - Defeat Talon King Ikiss while wearing a Pilgrim's hat and either a Pilgrim's Dress, Robe or Attire.
• The Turkinator - Kill 40 Wild Turkeys within 30 seconds of each other and gain Turkey Triumph. Using a macro is helpful here.
• Turkey Lurkey - Use a Turkey Shooter on each racial combo rogue.

Off-Meta Achievements

• Pilgrim's Progress - Complete each of the Pilgrim's Bounty dailies.
• Pilgrim's Peril - While wearing either a Pilgrm's Dress, Robe, or Attire, take a seat at each enemy capital's Bountiful Table.
