Allied Races
  • Regeneratin' no longer benefits from other effects that increase healing.

Classes
  • Paladin
    • Fixed an issue that allowed Consecration and Wake of Ashes’s global cooldowns to be reduced more than intended by haste.

Player versus Player
  • Players will now receive 50% more Conquest when participating in Rated Battlegrounds or Arenas until they have completed their 9th weekly “Conquest’s Reward”.
  • The Tiger's Peak arena has been temporarily closed for repairs and will be returned to the arena map pool in a future update.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented players from earning achievement Territorial Dominance.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented eligible players from receiving the achievement The 5-Cap Crew in Arathi Basin.

Quests
  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to use the Avatar of Kimbul to eliminate members of the opposing faction if they abandoned “Wrath of the Tiger”.

Raids and Dungeons
  • King Rastakhan
    • Fixed a bug that caused Death Rifts to disappear before the end of the encounter in Battle for Dazar’alor.
  • Garalon
    • Fixed a bug where players could be trapped like a bug after defeating the bug Garalon. It was bugging us.

Battle for Azeroth Dungeon Event
This week's bonus event is the Battle for Azeroth Dungeon Event.

  • All week long the final boss of each Battle for Azeroth Dungeon will drop an extra piece of loot.
  • Pick up the quest Emissary of War from either your Adventure Journal or in your faction hub. Completing this quest rewards Cache of Dazar'alor Treasures which contains a piece of item level 400 Battle for Dazar'alor loot and a large sum of Azerite power.

The Battle for Azeroth Dungeons Bonus Event is underway!

This Week
All week, open Group Finder (default hotkey: I) to queue for any Battle for Azeroth dungeon on Normal or Heroic difficulty.

Alternatively, get a group of veteran dungeoneers together and travel to one of the Battle for Azeroth dungeons on Mythic difficulty:

  • Atal’Dazar
  • Temple of Sethraliss
  • The Underrot
  • The MOTHERLODE!!
  • Freehold
  • Shrine of the Storm
  • Tol Dagor
  • Waycrest Manor

Look for the following all week long:
  • Chronicler Shoopa in Zuldazar or Chronicler Toopa in Boralus has a quest for you – Emissary of War. Or, if you forget to pick it up there, you can start it within the Adventure Journal.
    • Quest requirement: Complete 4 Battle for Azeroth dungeons on Mythic difficultly.
    • Rewards: One loot box containing a piece of gear from Heroic difficulty Battle for Dazar'alor.
  • Passive bonus: The final boss in each dungeon drop additional loot on all difficulties (except Mythic Keystone difficulties.)

Every Week
The Bonus Events system consists of a rotating schedule of different activities, currently scheduled to run each week beginning on Tuesdays. Each Bonus Event grants a passive bonus to a particular game activity and offers a once-per-event quest with a noteworthy reward for accomplishing a related goal. The in-game calendar can serve as your one-stop reference for the event schedule. The Adventure Guide also offers a direct link to active Bonus Events, allowing you to easily accept any associated quests.

Call to Arms: Nazmir
This week's Call to Arms is Call to Arms: Nazmir or Call to Arms: Nazmir. Head to Nazmir with warmode enabled to kill 10 players of the opposing faction. This will reward you with conquest and 75 reputation for either 7th Legion or The Honorbound.

Battle for Dazar'alor - Opulence Crowns
By now you might have noticed players you come across might have unique crown models on their heads. This model can be acquired in the loot table of the Opulence boss in Battle for Dazar'alor. There is a drop for every armor type and a color for each raid difficulty! That is not where the fun ends, however.

  • The on use effect Pry Gem gives you a random gem that provides a buff and is usable for 20 hours before disappearing. After 20 hours you can spawn a new random gem.
    • Crackling Tourmaline - Use: Increases your Speed by 120 for 60 min. (60 sec cooldown)
    • Diamond of Sustenance - Use: Draw sustenance from the gem, restoring 166,688 health and 83,344 mana over 20 sec. If you spend at least 10 sec focusing on the gem you will become well fed, gaining 75 in a stat for 60 min. (1 sec cooldown)
    • Emerald of Vigor - Use: Restores 33,337 health. (60 sec cooldown)
    • Sapphire of Brilliance - Use: Increases all stats by 400 for 60 sec. (5 min cooldown)
    • Star Topaz - Use: Make a friendly player sparkle! (30 sec cooldown)
    • Sunset Amber - Use: Reduces a party member's size by 50% for 5 min. (30 sec cooldown)

What to Expect in Patch 8.2 - Rise of Azshara
It has been several months since Blizzcon 2018's reveal of what is coming in Patch 8.2 - Rise of Azshara and so we decided to give you a little run down of what to expect for WoW's next patch!



  • New Landmass - Nazjatar
    • The naga are starting to make major attacks along the shores of Kul Tiras and Zandalar. The Alliance and Horde set sail for the great blue beyond to discover a chasm in the ocean surrounded by waterfalls, leading to the capital of the naga empire.
      • New Story Quests
        • Take the fight directly to Azshara herself
      • New Friends
        • Horde meet a group of former naga slaves (consisting of Makrura, Gilbin, and Sea Giants) held up in a cave trying to survive
        • Alliance meet the Ankoan, a deep sea tribe mostly wiped out by the naga who have dedicated their lives to slaying them.
      • Replayable Content
        • Team is taking inspiration from the best parts of past content zones
        • There will be a tower control point system that is both PvE or PvP in which areas of the map can be controlled by the naga, Horde, or Alliance.
        • The goal is that over the course of playing through the patch there are new things to see everyday.
      • New Foes
        • Old God minions
        • New Naga spellcasters
      • New Rewards, Mounts, and Pets
        • Naga themed weapons and armor sets
        • Crab mount that walk sideways
        • Seahorse mount that is literally a horse mixed with a seahorse.
        • Baby Naga pet
  • New Raid - Azshara's Eternal Palace
    • 8 boss raid
      • Fights include:
        • Naga Hatchery
        • Underwater Boss
        • Queen Azshara Fight
  • New Landmass - Mechagon
    • A previously closed vault in Kul Tiras has opened and within it a radio transmitter sends a signal for help and points to a new land to explore.
    • Ancient lost city of the gnomes
    • The beginning of the adventure is within the Junker Wastes where heroes will be beset by death robots.
    • Mechagnomes will be heavily involved in this story.
      • They introduce you to a whole new society and take you to where higher cast gnomes live who have dedicated themselves to their king and have embraced robotics.
      • They are hunted by robots.
    • King Mechangon has a vision to return anyone of flesh into more pure robotic parts and it's up to you to put a stop to him.
  • New Mega Dungeon - Mechagon
    • 8 bosses
    • Similar to Legion's Karazhan in size.
    • It is mythic difficulty only
    • New mounts and pets to collect inside
    • King Mechagon is the final boss.
  • War Campaign Continues
    • See what is next story wise for Sylvanas, Saurfang, Anduin and Jaina.
    • Magni's quest to save Azeroth will also continue.
  • New Heritage Armor
    • Tauren and Gnomes are next to receive Heritage Armor.
  • New Island Expedition Maps
    • Crestfall (from Warcraft II)
    • Snowblossom (Pandaren Village)
  • Heroic Warfronts
    • Higher Difficulty with higher rewards.
    • These are for teams of 10+ players and there is a possibility to lose.
  • Flying!
    • Pathfinder Part 2 achievement to unlock flying
    • Bee, Gryphon, and Mechanical Parrot mounts.
  • BfA Mythic + Season 3
    • Nazjatar themed seasonal affix
    • Item level increase
  • PvP
    • New Arena Map- Mechagon Arena
    • Season 3 Vicious Mount is the basilisk.
  • Miscellaneous
    • Every item slot except pants will be able to be hidden via transmog.
    • A portal to Caverns of Time is being added to the portal rooms.
    • A UI update will add pathfinding directions to quests that take place on other continents.

They said in the Q&A that we will be getting a “Hide Chest” option soon!

Once this change hits we will be able to hide cloaks, helms, belts, shoulders, chests, and shoes! (If you have Griftah’s authentic Troll shoes)

So why not let us hide EVERYTHING!

I spoke to the development team just now, and they are determined to make this a set of changes that give players ways to hide every slot.

We’ll let you know as soon as we have details on how that’s going to come about in a future update to the game.
