I could see it as a multi-phase fight where he's shapeshifting, because as said, he was balance before, and fighting a druid in catform seems rather weird.

If it is Fandral I'll be happy to kill him. He always came off as a prick to me for his in game chat. Plus, he was pretty much against Tyrande and Malfurion, along with bringing the Emerald Dream corruption to Azeroth.

Finally i get to kill the Jerk Staghelm, o this is gunna enjoyable., But i was really hoping we would fight Fandral in a Emerald Dream Patch

...and this pretty much sums up why the game is so bloody awful right now in terms of characters having depth. The lore team seem intent on killing off any character that doesn't give a verbal blowjob to players who interact with them.

These are the three known bosses for firelands. Ragnaros is an obvious one, but the other two aren't so. If any of you remember questing in hyjal, you are tasked with moving fandral to another prison. You hand fandral to a green dragon named Alysra, I think this should clear up how he got into the firelands.

I think you are forgetting about Garrosh, Sylvanas, Gallywix, and a bunch of (more) minor characters. There is a ton of character depth, it's just deep at times (you see what I did there).

I've been able to get slightly better footage by removing parts of the model. I applied more of the skin to some areas but haven't been able to get the correct skin for the "wings".

I have an explanation for fighting Alysra. When you turn in the quest to Ysera after escorting Fandral, she says "Fandral's corruption was greater than we thought. I fear for Alysra" or some such. And since old Raggy is in leagues with the old gods, and an old god gave Xavius the power to corrupt Staghelm, the corruption still in him would have seeped into Alysra, since she is a green dragon, and according to wowpedia, all green dragons are partially in the Dream. So, the corruption affects Alysra and she takes him to the closest Old God minion, Ragnaros. I bet Alysra will be messed up and have some fire about her as well.

Well, I've been reading these forums a lot but just created the account. I found something that was added in this PTR that looks interesting, db. mmo-champion. com/s/97312/boss-emote-anachronos-03/ , I can't post links yet, but could it be that Anachronos will be a boss or help us with some boss? It seems more likely that it is for the War of the Ancients raid though, maybe he goes rogue and becomes an Infinite dragon, or he helps us fight one.

I think it would be cool if his fight was sorta like Zul'jins, where he goes into different druid forms throughout the fight (bear, cat, boomie, and maybe tree).
