That's not a repulsive/annoying thing people do, that's a political party. Did you mean to say, "I find it annoying when people want to redistribute the wealth so the US doesn't go in the shitter"?

Anyways, I hate it when people say "hacked" when their shit gets stolen. There was no hacking going on.

I find it annoying when people employ sarcasm to the extreme on the internet / are always being a prick saying stupid shit. I guess I hate the internet a lot.

I too find it annoying when people say ridiculously stupid things, but with such conviction that you just want to punch them in the face.

People on their cell phones at inappropriate times. If I wasn't on the clock, I'd grab it and smash it to bits on the floor (Don't get mad, your phone's outdated at this point anyways!)

When people who have been manipulated act like they haven't been manipulated.

When people try to tell you how to do your job.
no u missunderstood, I lied. -despairsodelicious

People that say something completely idiotic and don't admit it
People that yell and try to speak over you in an argument/discussion
People that think guessing a password or logging on to someones account is hacking or overall know so little about computers you would think they are 80
People that lick their fingers while flipping pages

Though generally its the people who would actually do it not just say it. To me a person can whatever the hell they want regardless of what it is r how offensive but when they start hurting other or taking aways others rights THEN i have a problem and quite often people who bitch about that will try and limit others freedoms.

But once the lights dim and the real show starts, cut the distractions. Barring, of course, the need to use a restroom and the like. However, you paid $10 to see a movie, just like me, so stay off of your phone. It's simple, turn off the phone when you come in, and turn it on when you exit. It's not like your friends will die if you don't reply with your "lol's" and your "smilies", it saves me the trouble of looking like a jerk (which happens about once a month).

Also, using the word text as a verb. It's just nonsensical to me. Imagining the past tense of this attempted verb bewilders and perplexes me.
There was a person like this in a movie theater. The little brat was in front of me and talking on her cell phone the entire time, I tried to tell her to turn it off and she told me to "Mind my own, asshole" and went right on talking.

I then looked at her curly hair and then my popcorn, and then just tossed popcorn at her hair the entire movie, and people around me were just getting a kick about it, because they wanted her to shut up too. When the movie was over, she got up and the popcorn fell off her hair, her face was priceless and the entire theater was laughing. I am sure she learned her lesson, even if it was a prick move on my part.

this, and when people talk loudly on their cell phone no matter where they are and you can't not hear them jabbering on about nothing... there's a girl at work that does it every break time, and I'm in the other corner trying to read or have a real conversation with someone and it's like... agh, shut up already...

Anyone who claims to be one one side of the political spectrum or the other. Usually they think they know everything that has to do with politics and most the time they don't know shit.

EDIT: Also, die hard religious people, especially those who want to force it on my kids in a public school. Don't pray in my school, I won't think in your church.

That bugs me too, I can understand bringing food home, but if you're going to let it go to waste just leave it at the restaurant. It's bad enough I had to pay for food you didn't eat, on top of that I have to pay to throw it out and deal with the smell while it rots.

People who sit on Facebook the entire length of a 3 hour college class. I'm going to be competing for jobs with some of them? Please, if you can't stay off facebook long enough to take a class, stay home and eat Cheetos or something.

another thing that really bugs me, and a lot lately as i work with a girl who thinks this way, is when people say "Material items have no value to me, they can always be replaced, and blah blah blah."

If they have no value to you, why the fuck do you have them?

You have a vehicle because you value being able to take 5 minutes to get to work instead of walking for 30 minutes.
You have dishes because you value eating off of something clean.
You have clothes because you value not having the world see your body nude and/or value not getting as dirty.

If people don't value their material items, then give them to me. Oh you don't want to give them away? Why? Oh, that's right, because they have value to you. Idiots.

I am annoyed by people who talk with their mouths full, especially on vent, and especially when it's my raid leader and I can't just mute him until he's done eating.

I'm not a big fan of people who fart/burp in public, and I'm still not a fan of my husband doing either, especially when I'm nearby. I find it disrespectful. If I'm to release gas, I go to the bathroom and do it.

I dislike people who sing out of tune, loudly and block my ability to hear the song that they're singing along to. If you want to sing along, please sing in tune. ><

But the people I truely hate are people with a strong sense of self-importance, to the point that they believe that even logic should not apply to them if they don't want it to. For example a man came into my store a few years back with a coupon that said "any product from <company> free" He brought up a half dozen of the same product and claimed that he could have as many has he liked as "product was plural" and "no where did it say just one, and even if it did, it meant that he could have any amount of that product as long as it was th same UPC code". As the coupon didn't have a maximum value (most do now) he insisted that we should give him as much product as he wished.

When it was pointed out to him that there was NO WAY that he could take a full skid of yougurt home with him, based on the say so of one coupon, that NO company meant product in the way he was reading it when in reference to a customer, and that COMMON SENSE should probably dictate his demands, he went absolutely bullistic on me, the other two cashiers trying to explain it to him and the manager who finally explained to him that no matter what he wanted to read into his magical coupon, he was only going to get ONE yogurt for free, he threatened to call the cops on us, and take us all to court for harassment.

Another example - another lady who was buying some groceries at a store I was working at where we did mandatory bag checks (it was a rough neighbourhood, and the were signs EVERYWHERE saying that if you didn't want your bags checked, that you were to leave them at the front while you did your shopping) - I noticed that she had a loaf of expensive bread in the bag on her arm and asked her if she had a recipt for it. She immediately flipped and asked me if I was accusing her of stealing. Of course, I was stupid and attempted to explain that it was part of my job to ask, but she went completely apeshit on me and lost it, telling me that she clearly knew my job better than myself, and that I should have somehow been aware that she had done an exchange with said bread ten minutes ago with another cashier. After confirming this (which appearently insulted her even more) I (again stupidly) attempted to tell her that this was just part of my job and that I meant nothing by it. Appearently all she heard was "you're a thief" and she began to scream and yell and carry on - I attempted to hand her over to my store manager but she wouldn't have any of that - instead she left, called head office and told them that I'd verbally and physically assaulted her. Appearently she was threatening to sue the whole company for damages - and wanted a personal, heartfelt apology from me, in writing or in person to make her stop legal action.

Yet another person I'd like to choke out. Note: I never apologised (the office girl and I had a good laugh about it), though I truely hoped she'd come around so that I could get our security guard to escort her out in a very permenant manner.

I've just got no use for people like that.

And for that reason I have minimal use for the QQers on the official WoW forums. They're just as bad as the worst customers I've dealt with at my job and I always let them have it when they're being unreasonable.

What I like to call chewing like a whore. When someone chews at 9000 chews/minute and/or chews with there mount open. I always confront people of this, which is also rude, but it might keep me from punching them for another 20 seconds.
    Religion is like a penis.
    It's fine to have one.
It's fine to be proud of it.
But please, don't whip it out in public and wave it around,
And please, don't try to shove it down my children's throats.

Going off of this, it's really funny having three engineers together, and two of the engineers being convinced that if they drop a stapler and a pencil off of a desk at the same time, and neither are acted upon by anything other than gravity, that the stapler will clearly hit the group first since it's heavier no joke. When the third engineer tries to convince them in the error of their thoughts, the first two engineers think the third engineer is crazy, because clearly the heavier stapler will hit the ground before the pencil.

Now, back on topic: Exactly what Wrathcrab said, people being convinced they're correct even when they're clearly wrong. When you're clearly wrong, admit fault and move on people >:O.

to this i always say, "so what happens when you put a string between the two items? do they become one item and fall faster? Does the stapler pull the pencil and make the pencil go faster? Or does the pencil pull on the stapler and make the stapler fall slower?"
