Itouch Album Artwork Problems

So I downloaded some movies to itunes and then I plugged my itouch and when it finish with its sync my Protest the Hero Artwork was messes up. In the coverflow they appear to have the right Artwork but when I play the song it shows the Re-traced artwork from Cynic in both Kezia and Fortress. I want to fix that so it shows the right artwork. I tried powering it off and then on but didn't work. I also deleted the albums from itunes and added the files again but still nothing. Anyway of fixing that?

in Itunes, can't you right click on the item, select INFO, then go to the last tab and manually select the artwork you want?

You mean Ctrl-I? Itunes displays the right artwork. It happens on my Itouch.

I googled "itouch showing incorrect album artwork", and theres alot of results. Some of these may help:

It seems in most cases its been fixed by disabling syncing, wiping everything off the touch, then reenabling syncing and letting itunes do its thing. You may find some other suggestions.

I too was having random nis matched album art on my Touch and I have found the cause and solution at least for my scenario. I started noticing that the albums where the Touch was mis matching album art, had lower resolution images in ITunes for that album art. As soon as I replaced with a higher res image (say 500x500) It shows fine on the Touch after a simple sync.

I had the same problem and found that the unrelated albums that were merged had a common Album Name, like "Greatest Hits". To fix, I renamed the Album Names in the affected songs to include the artist. This allowed the touch to distinguish between the albums and resolved the problem on mine.
