My thoughts exactly. Once you go SSD, you'll never want to go back.
I went back to my Caviar Black 640GB as a main system drive after 5 months of using a Vertex II as a system drive. P:

In other news, I got a new laptop!

    HP DM1-3040CA
AMD Zacate E-350 dual core APU @ 1.6ghz
    (Radeon HD 6310 IGP)
    4GB DDR3 SODIMM
    640GB 5400RPM drive
    11.6" 1366x768 LED LCD

No faster than my junky T5450 laptop that I don't use anymore, but soooo much more convenient. Has around 5-7 hours battery life...

If you have alot of cash to spend, you should have bought an SSD...
No I didn't say I bought the 560ti, I said it's a future upgrade. and the reason I'm considering buying a higher end card for PhysX is if I ever do have a problem with the GTX 590 I would have a better card to use while I am waiting for a replacement to arrive.

It's called saving. I didn't just drop all this money in one shot. Yes, I will ditch the thermaltake cooling system eventually, but I've had it for a couple years and it still runs like a champ so for now that upgrade is low on the list

When I started this build a few months ago I didn't plan on going this far with it, so spending the money on a low capacity SSD and another storage device wasn't something I really thought about. I may add an SSD to take care of Windows but I need to do more research about it. Also, I got the Velociraptor NiB for under $200

Not that I have a problem with it but- when did this go from a setups thread to an inside-of-case thread?

Always been a "post pics of sexyness" thread.

Always nice to see people's cases and how they've brought together their parts and cable management.
