    Recycled content, whats next?

So far we've seen Nefarian return as the "end boss" of Cata T1. (Sin is a "special" heroic only boss so it doesn't count.) Now we have Ragnaros as the end boss of Cata T2. This whole expansion seems to be themed around trying to bring back the feeling people had in classic/vanilla wow. They revamped old world, and brought back a couple old end bosses. Lots of focus on old things and bringing old things back (za and zg too) I fully don't expect to see a completely new and fresh tier end boss this expansion. EDIT: Besides Deathwing of course, forgot about that when I was making the OP >.<

Which tier end boss do you think they'll bring back next? I don't really think they'll bring back Kel'Thuzad YET AGAIN because the whole scourge storyline kind of climaxed with Bolvar. The usual "plaguelands, northrend, and killing the lich king were merely setbacks..." doesn't really fit here, but Ner'zhul could still corrupt Bolvar and start another uprising of the scourge and return Kel'thuzad to the world of the living again I suppose.
    C'thun is also a possibility I guess.
The bosses from upper and lower blackrock could make a return I suppose, though it doesn't make much sense story line wise. Also we could see Ossirian the Unscarred, with Uldum being "unearthed" and all. Pretty much leaves nothing else but burning crusade bosses, which are probably on reserve to recycle during the Sargaras expansion that will likely be wow 5.0 (to end the storyline and try to get everyone into Titan/Diablo3)

So what are your thoughts and opinions on what we'll see in 4.3 and beyond?

Old content is just a little deja vu for old raiders that want to reminisce about the old vanilla days while we wait for something bigger and better like Ulduar for example which was one hell of an epic instance

Nefarian coming back with Ony was so obvious, You have the power to reanimate people, pick your son and daughter ofc?
Raggy was always going to be fought again because in MC we pushed him back to the Firelands, ZA isn't even the same thing anymore, same place, different bosses, different mechanics, ZA is similar but still has a different end boss.

Also, Wasn't N'zoth already confirmed as the next Old God?

Well Ulduar was the second tier of wotlk, and Rag is our end boss of cata t2. The first tier of wotlk wasn't something to give old raiders "deja vu" (naxx) cause they had VERY ample time to come up with something completely original before they released the expansion, instead they came up with two single dragon boss instances and recycled naxx. (also they re-released naxx because hardly anyone was able to experience it. At least the encounter for Nefarian was drastically different and the rest of the bosses of the tier weren't recycled like naxx was.

I think Blizzard will bring back either AQ or Scarlet Monastery as a 5man. Either could involve the Twilight Cult / Old Gods.

I had forgotten about this, its the most likely to happen if its recycling they'll be doing for 4.3. No real ties to the rest of the whole "demon" situation in BC, so it won't be needed as part of the Sargaras expansion. They'll probably do some sort of naga instance again, with Abyssal Maw as the usual new 5 man instance for the tier.

Wasn't there a "map" somewhere where it says like 6.0 is the last expansion with Sargeras?

If anything I'd love to see HC Scarlet Monastery, it has a great story and feel. However I would want to see a reworking of the place, very tunnel vision inducing nowadays.

Tbh i don't get all the QQ posts about "re-hashed" content, lots of people complained about ZA/ZG being removed and then they complained even harder when it came back. People complaining we killed raggy back in vanilla don't have much of a clue as we didn't, we only banished him from Azeroth and pushed him back to the firelands and we're now going to finish the job. With Nef and Ony Deathwing brought them back as their his children and if you could bring people back from the dead why would you not bring back your most powerfull children? Pretty sure the old god behind Deathwings corruption would have used them as a final bargining chip aswell, i know Deathwing had gone into hiding in deepholm well before Nef/Onys death and most likely could have been influenced to attack faster/brought more under the old gods control if he was promised his children back and then told if he didn't do as the old god said his children would die again.

would you like it if a car dealer consistently tried to sell you a 1945 car with new paint?
