As much fun as the box is, its not really a pc now is it =)
I do enjoy my box, but I've got to admit that the hardware is rather lacking in it. That low resolution really ruins it for me.

    On a second note:
I'm pretty sure I've read an article somewhere that stated that penis size was proportional with your pc's power draw.

Oh, an attitude - parents didn't love you as a kid?

Hostility aside, people judging others for their decisions in their hobbies are like... For goodness sakes, you prefer an Xbox over a PC, who are you to talk?

Playing FPS on PC totally ruined consoles for me. My box is only used as a dvd player now.

I wouldn't be able to stand the sound. I use it just for NHL-games; discontinued to PC. The last one, NHL '09 was a horribad port either way.

I would be very very surprised if it didn't support it out of the box. The damn thing has two back panel cutouts for it!

I think its the Corsair 800D that needs a slight mod for the SR2

Or it's not a gaming rig, it just works as one in addition to it's intended use.

If you think for a second you know that his rig isn't designed purely for gaming. If it was, he would've went with 2 6990's and a massivly overclocked 2500k or 2600k, and less than 12GB ram.

    mine:

    i5 2500k clocked at 5.04 ghz
coolermaster haf 912 (will have 2x 200mm led fans and 2x 120mm led fans when the others arrive on monday) (and i have sexy red LED feet) :P
    650 watt corsair tx650 psu
24 inch asus monitor (with a crappy old 15 inch for off screen junk)
be quiet darkrock advanced aftermarket heatsink
    8gb (2x4) corsair ddr3
    asus p8p67 mobo
    evga geforce gtx 570 superclocked
60 gig ssd for windows and wow
1 gig samsung f3 spinpoint for storage/program installs etc
razer deathadder mouse and blackwidow keyboard

think that covers everything, will post some photos up shortly, nothing fancy yet until i get my 2 new led fans (and i suck at cable management, some cables just don't want to be hidden, and i onyl just got the led feet with 2 more fans on the way so figured i could tidy up a bit more on monday :P )

    pics:

and a closeup of the heatsink because i like how big these things are:

edit: swapped to photobucket, i don't like imgur for thumbnails

yeah, most of the cabling i did today, more specifically most of that crap is actually the led feed (cables from the back switch to the controller then 4 cables to the feet themselves), as i say, hope to tidy them up properly on monday (this is a relatively new build, and as most people will tell you .. cable management, after you've just built the computer, you just can't be arsed sorting the cables for a few week :P )

    and finally resized, woo >.>

Get rid of that mitx board and get a real one! oh..wait...

Isn't it a little over the top huge.
When you're going to add the GPU to the loop, you'll stand there "oh fuck, tubes are too short "

  17. #2057
I just realized that on the sidepanel of the Elysium you can probably fit in 4 200mm fans if you want to. With modding obviously.

  18. #2058
That motherboard does look tiny in that case... needs moar SR-2

I finally got around to tidying up my cable management (except I semi-failed since you can see all the wires jumbled up above the PSU... I'll have to fix that later >_>) I also had to move my 1TB Caviar Black closer to the intake fan as it was running hotter than it normally would (~40C in the back cage... ~33C in the front one)

Also... is there any way to control a case fan so that it varies its speed based on the GPU temperature? (instead of the CPU temperature that it normally goes off of) If I can do that, I can do without the fan controller altogether since all I have plugged into it is the bottom AP141 blowing at my graphics card (potentially soon to be graphics cards )

Looks cleaner than my case does right now. Need to do some more cleaning again. Thought I'd prep up the 5 hot swap bays so I could use them at a later point, so they're all connected and ready for HDDs.

That's when I realized I forgot the bays' screws at home. Which is 850km away from here.
