I believe thats a lute. Does not look nor sound anything like a banjo other than both being stringed instruments played by plucking the strings. Originally Posted by wickedbastard

It was nice to see they wanted to do a bit more than just: here's the mesmer. I chuckled.
Though, WoW also used minstrels/bard as a joke for a new class, poor minstrels.

I'm actually glad it's not real. I would find it very hard to get into a class that was only about playing the lute. Clearly I could just not play that class, but I don't know, something about it just seems weird. Like, in RIFT I was just fine with Bards, because they weren't their own separate class, but a one of the roles a rogue could play.

There is a bard class in LOTRO that can actually play musical notes. Which is pretty funny when players hang out at the auction house playing Don't Fear the Reaper. XD

I run WOW on High=Ultra (shadows turned off cause I dislike shadows in-game, but they can run on ultra) and I'm hoping, since it's a rather new setup, I'll be able to play GW2 at least on medium settings with better results than Rift...the biggest turn-off for me with that game, was the poor optimizing done with it.

Depending on when it launches I might be upgrading to a new set up, mine isn't old in the slightest but I want something that will run GW2 and anything after it as well as it possibly can.
