pretty happy with the build i got i got about $250 left over. Think that'll be enough power to run my machine? and what should i up with the extra cash?Also abit confused when i get the gear how the ssd works. Does it take the place of a hdd? or can i just slot it in somewhere? i plan on having my WD Blue SATA3 500G and my wd 1t (storage/movies) and then the ssd. Will that work?

Which games and such are you going to be playing and will you be doing any artwork?

The I5 2500k is the best gaming CPU on the market at the moment and the 560 TI is a really powerfull GPU.
With the spare $250 you could go ahead and get a 120GB SSD which would improve your load times quite a lot. Depending on what games you will be playing you could go ahead and upgrade the GPU or get 8GB ram (with a minor improvement)

This is similar to my office build, runs all games at max and BF3 at Ultra with 4xAA (45-60 FPS) at full HD.

If you do not plan on overclocking the I5 2500 version will do you just fine and save you a bit more moeney. Neither of these builds come with a SSD but unless you're tired of waiting 10-15 seconds to load WoW then I would really honestly not go that far. Not untill the prices drop within the near future.
Both Marest builds come with a 1TB HDD. In your case you can leave those out unless you actually need more rooom.

@OP: Some comments:
- Any specific reason as to why you picked the CM RC371 case? It's a pretty small and lacking in features. With such a budget I'd rather get a proper case (I'm guessing your budget is $1000, in which case I'd spend ~$100 on the case), e.g. the Fractal Design Arc Midi or the Corsair 400R.
- Get 8GB of RAM (2x4) as RAM is fairly inexpensive and 4GB might be on the low side, especially if you are a heavy multi-tasker.
- Make sure you research the SSD properly before you decide to get it. Not that they will blow up in your face or anything, but some SSDs (especially the older SF ones) are known to case issues and BSOD. A good alternative to your pick would the the Crucial M4 64GB or the Corsair Force Series 3 64GB (both being around $100).
- Your PSU is slight overkill for your intended build. ~600W is not enough to properly run SLI 560 Tis with overclocks either. Either get a good 500W for non-SLI, or a good 650W+ for SLI.
- As there is room in your budget, it might be wise to add an aftermarket CPU cooler. The NZXT Havik is fairly inexpensive and offers great cooling.
- Your HDD configuration should work just fine. Just mind that a 64GB SSD fills up very quick.

Strictly a gaming computer only. I swapped the
Case for a antec df85. Looks nice and offers a lot of features.

Games I'll be running and really wanting to test
The machine: bf3/skyrim/d3 and gw2 (when they come out)

Not planning on upgrading for awhile so I want it to maintain benchmark
If possible.

The build I linked would be your best bet if you have a good HDD you can use for games and other software (that doesn't fit on the SSD). Just swap the case for the Antec Dark Fleet 85 if you prefer that case.

An option is to hold on until the new AMD and nVidia GPUs are properly on the market. AMDs middle-segment are expected soon (1-2 months) while nVidias new GPUs are expected sometime this year (the rumor is Q2 or Q3). The AMD flagship, 7970, is already on the market but unfortunately out of your budget (~$550).

Marest you should really pop the sapphire 2gb 6950 into some builds. I can confirm 100% they are unlockable by design of sapphire. They not only say it on the product itself but in practice it works and is quite idiot proof to flip a switch which is right near the CFX bridge port.
