For further elaboration, what this picture does is simply show you the incapability of 3d objects being displayed properly on a 2d screen.
In picture in the middle (the all black woman) you obviously can't see what leg is in front and what is in the rear. Your mind just assumes this black shape to be a 3d woman spinning (contrary to really being black pixels moving in 2d), and furtherly assumes a spinning direction, which you can actively change, because, as I said, with black on black you can't decide which leg is in front (keep in mind, there is no front, it's a 2d image).
The red and blue stripes and white shades just create the illusion of a 3d woman, but it still isn't, and take away your mind's capability of changing the direction.
It's a splendid example of how our 3d perception can be tricked easily. No more, but also no less.
