How can a trooper take 50 hits from a light saber and still be fine?

How can a jedi stand in a flame thrower and be fine? How can an Imperial Agent get hit by a rock that weighs more than she does and be fine? What is the point of this thread?

How can an OPerative then stab you in the back a couple times with a knife and you fall over dead?

I see what you mean now, with the cinematics. It does look kinda lame when you whack them with your lightsaber and they don't have any visible wounds or marks on their armor. It isn't game breaking or anything, but it'd help with the immersion.

Anyway, if you don't already see where I'm going with this, allow me to spell it out: the only meaningful MMORPG "endgame" -- i.e., something novel to do after the progression process is over -- is that of the sandbox.
