Which element would you control?

Technically you can also fly using water/earth via flying atop large chunks of ice/earth. Heck you can even fly Iceman style depending on the water/ice generation style of the water bender. You can even fly with firebending by using your fire as jet propulsion for your flying.

Curiously, if you had to vote which element would get lightning/electricity manipulation, which would it be? In the Avatar universe firebenders are given that ability, but in most other media, lighting/electricity manipulation tends to go towards air/water benders.

In any case I vote vote water.

Fire. Definitely. Fire is literally a pure expression of energy and I can control it? If avatar (No not space Pocahontas) taught me one thing, controlling air is more useful than controlling any other element, because it's the only one you can't really take away from someone.
In a desert? no waterbending 4 u
On an oil rig? no earthbending 4 u

Okay, you can't really take away air or fire, but the fact that controlling air basically means you can fly means it wins.

Seriously though: I chose Earth, as I have a wide arsenal (Including Ironbending and the way Toph navigates around, because she's blind you know).
