Azeroth has 2 moons. The standard moon which often is refered to by night elves as Elune. The second has been missing from Azeroth since even vanilla. It is smaller and it is called the blue child, because it is smaller and blue colored. So it's about time it got added in.

OH YEAH!!! Never understood why they didn't brought it back in WotLK and Cataclysm. By the time of 3.3.5 they should have the resources to fix it already.

Obviously you don't do archaeology... you tend to spend most of your time in the sky, so these things are pretty noticeable. :P

I never knew that it was supposed to be there but I'm glad it's back!

p.s. And I spend a ridiculous amount of time looking at the sky...it's one of my favorite things to do on flight paths. Take screenshots of the sky.

For those of you who dont know, here is some info on Azeroth's moons, taken from Wowwiki:

Azeroth has two moons:

The larger, bright and silver moon is known as the White Lady. The night elves know and worship it as Elune while the tauren refer to it as Mu'sha (the left eye of the Earthmother) in Sorrow of the Earthmother.

The smaller cool, blue-green moon is known as the Blue Child. The "Blue Child" is currently not visible in WoW, though it once was. It was removed from the game at the release of The Burning Crusade, possibly due to a graphical error, but has yet to return.

The Earthmother sent the Blue Child away to learn about the universe upon noticing the coming of the Burning Legion, explaining its disappearance prior to the Burning Crusade expansion. It will be a very long time before it returns.

This is the part that gets me > "It will be a very long time before it returns" , Does anyone know a rough time difference between TBC and moP ? I mean in in-game years.
