I can't imagine any of the mounts becoming easier to obtain through the Black Market, to those throwing a panic attack over their hard-earned mounts suddenly being "easier" to obtain. Think about it. There's a lot of people on your server, more than you care to realize. There's only going to be sold one mount at a time, and everyone will be bidding on it. No doubt the 20k starting bid will be nothing compared to the actual bidding wars that will go on, and I assure you there's a lot of people sitting on +50k gold willing to spend almost every coin on such a rare mount. People will begin to hoard gold for the single purpose of bidding. It will be seriously hard to get something from such an Auction House.

Just yesterday I was saying to myself that I won't need gold in MoP... Boy was I wrong.

I'm praying this doesn't make it on to live, This is just crossing the line in terms of a gold dump. T3 and extremely rare mounts available to buy off an AH, this is insane. It's going to give people even more reason to buy gold off those gold farmers that will be working ever so hard if this comes out.

Farming a ridiculous amount of gold is just as much effort as mindlessly farming a trivialized raid encounter.

Be that as it may, mindlessly farming a raidincounter still requires you to actually play the game and not just stand in the big city hubs and troll the AH.

Playing the Auction House and taking advantage of the established economy is something that requires far more skill than zerging the same boss over and over because you alone have more stats than 3 raids of that time combined.

The black market looks cool, gives gold a bit more value.

What game have you been playing for the last year and half? Everything is trivialized and meaningless in regard to "now anybody can have it". How many "Light of Dawns" do you have on your realm now vs pre-Cata? I can tell you we didn't have any in 3.X on my realm (4.0x post-shattering, pre-cata 1 guild finally got him), but we got a buttload now! How many ICC/Ulduar drakes? Kingslayers? There's more toons with these titles/mounts on my realm now even though our population has literally dropped in half since the end of Wrath. The only value these accomplishments have is that in which you take from it personally. Nothing is sacred or reserved for the uber-elite. Nice Savior title you just worked your ass on for the last 5 months, in another 5 months and band of 90 nubs will just hamfist their way to it and you'll never display "Savior of Whogivesacrap" above you toons head again. The Black Proto-Drake was the last "had to have been there and done that" reward for being awesome. This game is no longer catering to that 5% who are better at it than the other 95% who make up their ever revolving customer base of baddies, er I mean casuals.

    people will just

    A) bot
    B) buy it from gold farmers
    C) play the auction house (kinda farming but only take 3-4 min a day)

But I don't give a fuck as got over 200k already from AH

Black market, seems like the first fail i see for mop

Black market is a great idea. People who are saying that 'every kid who uses their parents credit cards can get ashes nao Q_Q' obviously don't realize something.
These mounts will not be available always, neither will they go for 20k. My main (which I have not played for 3 months) was servers #4 richest with 2.2m gold, all earned legitimately. There is virtually nothing I can spend my money on. Nothing. If I see an Ashes of Alar on AH, you can bet that I will be willing to pay more than 50% of my current cash for it. Is it worth that much? For some, yes.

Consider that. I'm talking about millions of gold. That average kid you despise will and can not buy a million of gold without getting banned. No way. Nada. Blizzard watches large gold transactions really carefully. Even I got questioned couple of times (to check that I was not a bot, for instance). If you get traded a million gold (to outbid me), Blizzard will instantly ban you.

Black Market looks like a blizzard move to make people buy the mobile auction house service...
was servers #4 richest with 2.2m gold
How do you check that ? Gold stats are not displayed in armory stadistics.

I wrote nothing about skill, I wrote that it requires you to play the game, trolling ah doesnt constitute playing the game in my book.
In the extreme scenario one could even do it from a mobile device and never actually have to log into to the game before getting ashes in the mailbox.

Also wearing my tin foil hat, if this is a succes why not add other items? why not combine it with the realmoney auction house we know from diablo wich without a shadow of a doubt will spill over into wow sooner or later.. inb4 p2w

Tin foil hat off again I have killed Kael'thas Sunstrider 95 times post 3.0 and have yet to see the mount drop. Now playing the AH is not somthing I like to do it simply so boring i would fart dust after very few days, I do however hold a job, and working my job very few hours, I would be able to buy the gold from a goldseller online.

First the cross server change for lower population areas, now the black market gold sink, Blizz becoming more and more smart everyday now...

My only concern about this new AH is limited access, I would suggest that is allowed only for people above lvl 60, so we dont have rich kids transfer every week with their lvl 1 toons, to the best auctioned mount server.
Apart from that, I wouldnt hope for Black Market AH mounts (at least in first months) because rares bids will exceed 500k++ per mount for sure!

    +1 from me
you realy think that you can farm the amount of gold a Botuser does when you dont even have enough time to raid (which takes 2-3h a week) ? retard
BM AH is a total shit idea, even if i have over 25 million gold from 3 bots, its just for people who dont deserve it

hi little kid, i just say who dont deserve it not who does. I dont say its a bad idea when there are no illegal ways to obtain gold like botting or buying it but this will never happen (blizz already lost their lawsuit (right word?) against honorbuddy) or you realy think there are not many people who buy gold or running bots? then wake up, the bm ah will just more people buy or bot their gold

Funny how it is always "some idiot kid with too rich parents". Why not a 25 year old intelligent guy who doesn't raid but knows how to play the AH?

Do you guys always nerdrage about rich old guys who get beautiful girls that you cannot get, fast cars and a big house - because they have maybe more money than you - or can affort other things that you never will? And if you concede that these old farts have maybe worked for that money all their life, do you nerdrage about inherited fortunes?

After reading this i wonder if the poster considers himself one of those inteligent 25 y/o´s!

BM seems to be for the 1% who have this luxury problem of having bought all the fast cars, the expensive women and still got change to spend.. Oh wait you can´t actually buy those in wow.. yet. This is madness you have been playing a socialistic game, NO WAY Romney will shake your hand now Son.
