Also, does anyone think any of the current competitor's with multiple nominations are too strong for this competition?

Luke Skywalker is probably too powerful compared to everyone else, unless we use Non-EU like Caiada suggested.

Yep. See my previous post for some of the Force powers he gets after the movies. Some of them seem way too powerful for the other characters, I think.

Death, knockout or submission. I suppose also having the ability to incapacitate the opponent for x amount of seconds. For example, Edward Elric vs Wolverine. Ed probably can't kill Wolverine, and I'm not sure his alchemy would effect adamantium, but Ed could probably make a giant hand made of rock grab Wolverine and pin him to the ground, making him unable to move. That would count as an Ed win.

Personally, I think Mewtwo might be too strong for this one. He is definitely much stronger than the other pokemon competitors, and his telekinesis would let him easily win most matches by just holding his opponent in midair.

Also, I think this forum voted Mewtwo as stronger than Frieza, and Frieza is definitely too strong for this competition.

For Edward Elric, I think we should disallow human transmutation. He wasn't that good at it anyway, and I think it would be too strong. He has enough power using the environment and his arm to attack.

That's why we have this discussion as to who is too strong. I probably should have worded the overwhelming part better. What I wanted to avoid were people with "I win" buttons such as planet destruction, faster than light travel, etc.

I was considering replacing Zoro with Chopper, since Chopper only has one OP form, which only lasts three minutes and incapacitates him afterwards, but Zoro already has received nominations from other people.

Machamp should be fine for the competition, as long as he has his belt on. If he takes his belt off, that might be different, but with it on he's not much stronger than other Pokemon.

Edit: On second though, Machamp might be debatable, even with his belt on.

Voldemort might be too OP for this, just based on the Avada Kedavra. Instantly kills anyone w/o magic protection, and 99.99% of those who do have magic protection.

Also, I can't believe I forgot to nominate Guts from Berserk. I bet he could have had an epic sword fight against early Roronoa Zoro.
