I sense a release date will be coming within the next few days as well as the availability to preorder =] I could be wrong but it seems like the case.

They upgraded the PTR web software as well a month ago and still no PTR.
If it goes like that and PTR is like in a month or 2 weeks then release may be in 2 months.

Weren't we supposed to get the MoP Cinematic today? The gamescom day is in the books and nothing... and they explicitly stated that it would be shown on the 16th
Your find makes me more cinfedent though that something is about to happen

Comes up on my account too, but clicking just takes you to the game page and there is no 'Upgrade to Mists of Pandaria' on the right side like there is when you can upgrade to the next expansion, so I guess it is just a preliminary upgrade to battle.net in preparation for an upcoming pre-order.
