"All over Nar Shaddaa" was my exact wording. I suppose I COULD have said "corners, walls, pathways, nooks, and rooms of the Duros Sector, Corellian Sector, Republic Research Division", etc, but I thought the more concise "all over" was a better word choice.

You complained and were given very specific advice. If you are following it and not finding crates, then somehow you have a problem hundreds of thousands of people don't have. Just because someone says 'no one else is having this problem' doesn't mean we're saying you are mental. We literally don't understand your problem, because we have heard no one else back it up.

Don't be mad given that information, when people try to help you.

I got the broken speeder mount on my Inquisitor, and the Sniper Rifle Bowcaster for my Imperial Agent Sniper. I am pleased with this event. I think the new mount is probably my favorite though.

I got the sandperson outfit for my knight, who is heading to Tattoine next in progression. I am considering getting the speeder, just not sure.
I got hte level 50 bowcaster for my agent, but she's still level 43, so I should probably finish leveling her...

All in all, the event was fun, except that the timed unlock of the quests didn't make sense. Could have just run it all at once and given folks a week to do it in. It also highlights TOR's over use of traveling a bit much. Otherwise though, some fun stuff and no big complaints.

I complained because riding around hunting for boxes was stupid. I wasn't asking for advice, just making a statement. And if someone was going to give me advice that'd be fine, if it wasn't giving me advice telling me to do something I had already stated I was doing.

You're right, you didn't ask for advice. Instead you came to the forums to complain about something without substance? Your complaint was met with several people being helpful for something you *definitely* did not say you were already doing. It's like saying you lost your keys, but you've 'looked everywhere'. No you haven't, or else you would have found them.

So if the end result of this whole discussion is that you are unhappy with it, then by all means please stand by that. So instead of arguing that people aren't being helpful, you should reiterate that you feel you tried your best, but the design is something that displeases you. It took multiple pages and several attempts to help for you to finally admit "Hunting for boxes is stupid". -Ok, your opinion is registered and is not helpful in any way. Please stop posting in this event thread then.

OT: I've sadly not really gotten into the event aside from a couple of boxes...I've been religiously leveling 3 new characters (26 Trooper, 20 Juggernaut, 28 Sniper) trying to get them to 50. I did enjoy Nar Shaddaa when I went through there, the giant Chevin guy was a nice break in the scenery!

One of the reasons I did it on my Jedi Knight was that I was level 26ish and was on the final part of the main Nar Shaddaa plotline, so I was already there and it wasn't hard to grab some stuff. The quests do give some xp also.

I did the main questline on my level 16 bounty hunter, though running to the nar shaddaa guy was a bit harrowing given everything wanted me dead.

I said hunting for boxes was no fun in my first post, rather clearly I might add(okay technically I said some people don't find it fun, but I thought it was kinda clear in context that I was part of that group). Second, I never said people weren't trying to be helpful, I said they were telling me to do stuff I ALREADY SAID I WAS DOING(and I can show you where I said it) which isn't in fact helpful no matter what they were intending it to be, it simply shows they(well, some of them anyways, some of them were legitimately offering help I hadn't already mentioned doing) didn't read the conversation they were responding to which is not helpful even if I HAD asked for help.

Ultimately I did find all my boxes(Thursday there was an instance of NS with only 15 people) and got what I needed to get. Did the quests to get the 50 tokens on each toon, got my sniper the level 50 rifle(can't use it yet but oh well) with the tokens he got from quests(plus 10 a dude gave me for being helpful), then sent everyone else's tokens to my warrior to get Quinn a sand people outfit since I hate Quinn and this way I can pretend I have a cooler sand person companion instead. Then I bought the remaining tokens I needed to get him the lobelot as well since he's my pet collector, and didn't bother getting anything for anyone else.

I was dissapointed overall.

1. No daily quests made me hav less interested day by day
2. No world/event boss
3. The tokens were so easy to obtain it made the items feel common and not worth getting
4. No Plague!

There may be a second part involving a Chevin invasion and items for a wider range of player classes. It may not immediately follow this event, but they've got something up their sleeves...

Can you elaborate on this "fleet business?" My home is currently without high speed internet, so I was only able to do the event at another location. So I haven't been able to explore all of the little things.

When you go to the casino and listen in on them talking you hear them say something about getting everything done before "the fleet" arrives.

Or maybe that was back on DK. I don't know. I did the event like 3 times. Couldn't force myself to do it 3 more.

It is a civilization that outdates the empire by hundreds of thousands of years. They are supposed to be the most technologically advanced race in history and they possessed Ancient Hypergates.

Honestly... I was thinking that maybe the Gree Fleet returning would tie into the Terror From Beyond Op somehow... but I might just be getting my hopes up there.

That would be pretty sweet. Fingers crossed they do something cool like that. Maybe the invasion will be their story-based excuse for ratcheting up the space combat.

Ok well since no one is using spoilers to talk about the Gree...in the mail from the empire it specifically states they are basically the inventors of Hypergates/space technology. I have a feeling this will definitely factor into upcoming content, as the new WZ will be fighting over powering up Hypergates. I wouldn't put it past the dread masters to try and harness Gree technology for conquest purposes.

Not to mention that their technology "allowed their vessels to safely traverse turbulent regions of space that included vast asteroid fields and dangerous nebulae"...hrmm....expannnnssion time

How are the Chevin related to the Gree? I must have missed it, I didn't see any Gree references on Republic side.
