3 hours earlier headstart

I checked the countdown on official website but it says the ordinary headstart time. The eventual 3 hours before that is counted in or is it some leak for some people to try take their chances earlier or? Thinking about when to set the alarm tomorrow.

they said they might open servers up 3 hours prior to help smoothen out launch. so if they do that it'll be 12 AM EST

I'll need to re-find the blog post, don't have it anymore after doing a re-installation from corrupted windows boot drivers, but I thought they said that servers COULD be up as early as 3 hours before launch.

They said it both in a news on their blog and in the email I received yesterday.

They stressed *might* be up 3 hrs early, they are giving themselves some leeway to work out any launch kinks before official headstart midnite launch - plus spreading the crush of those first million+ players.

So it's a matter of wanting to get up and login and try for 3 hours and hope to hit an hour or two earlier, or wait til official launch time and be sure? Im willing to give it some tries though =)

I plan on being at my PC starting three hours before, but I'm doing a good job at keeping myself expecting servers to come up at "scheduled" time (12 Pacific).

This way if they come up early it'll be a bonus but if not I won't have intentionally built my schedule just around hoping for 3 hours earlier access.

The official countdown is set for the official opening of the server, if they do decide to open it up 3 hours earlier they may or may not tell us on twitter/facebook first, then who knows who they'd tell after that, but the second news is heard, you bet it'll be on here. It all depends on the next 25 hours on what happens. I'd just set it for the "3 hours before" time though, the forums will be pretty active around then so you won't be bored either way.

As of this time, no. But we "may" be seeing something similar pop up when GvG makes a comeback. This is only speculation, of course.
