    Is this a balanced build?

    Hey,
    a shop in my area is running quite a big discount on this build, in fact a little too big, so can somebody tell me if there is something wrong with this setup please?

    Thanks in advance, the speccs are as follows:

    ASUS P8Z68-V LX - mobo
    Intel Core i5-2550K
    ASUS ENGTX560 Ti DC/2DI/1GD5
    Kingston 8GB KIT DDR3 1600MHz CL9 HyperX blu Edition
    Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H70
    Western Digital Caviar Green 2000GB 64MB cache Advanced Format
    ASUS BC-12B1ST - dvd/blueray mechanic
    Corsair 500R Carbide Series - case
    Corsair CX600 V2 - power supply
    Cooler Master A12025-08CB-3BN-F1 - ventilator

    GPU is a little old, hard drive is slow, PSU is not the best ever, but depending on price it could be a really good deal.

    Thanks for answer, the only real alternative is this:
    Intel Core i7-3770 (3.4 GHz, , 8MB SmartCache);
    MSI B75A-G43 (Military Class III ); 8GB memory (DDR3, 1.333GHz); 1TB disk (WD Caviar Blue, 7200RPM, 32MB) a 128GB SSD SILICON POWER; mechanic Samsung SH-S222AB; gpu MSI N560GTX-M2D1GD5 (1GB DDR5); case ZALMAN Z11 PLUS a 500W source CHIEFTEC GPA-500S8;

    Of course this one has a rather ugly case, but on the other hand an SSD, which one would you choose?

    The other one is significantly better. You can actually overclock it!

    Can't with B75 motherboard and 3770 (without K) processor which is $100 wasted on gaming. It also has notably worse graphics card but the SSD is nice bonus.

    That's like 10x better for gaming than either of the two you linked before. This computer can actually be overclocked, has a brand new graphics card and slowpoke HDD does not matter because there's good SSD in it.

    Go with it imo.
    As Chaud said, you can overclock that one, but you won't really need to do so with it

    The part I did not quote can be understood to mean either of the first two parts list linked above it. For further proof see the reply directly above this post.

    Also this whole derailment of yours is 100% pointless because the third computer is significantly better than either of the two.
