Plus, I didn't know that about him. The only dual WR/RB I knew of is Percy Harvin, and he's not listed as such.

I've got two very close games in both of my leagues, in one of them, Gates will be my last remaining opponent, in the other he will be my last remaining player

    MIXED EMOTIONS

I don't think there is any scenario where I can win both games unless Lawfirm gets another 100 yards without scoring on my Ravens D in my other league (while Ravens D is also my opponent)

    fantasy football is complicated

well thanks to that Ray Rice gimme touchdown looks like that lead I had didnt hold

    SIGH

so is the life of a fantasy football player. maybe dalton can hoist a bomb to green for some free points at the end to make up the difference

You can tell WoW changed the MMO for good when players started complaining about the amount of time they sink, into a time sink.

so the way things played out Gates has to have exactly 12 points and I win both my games heh...

if he gets 59 yards and a TD I win one and tie the other, if he gets 61 yards and a TD I win one and lose the other

must be exactly 60y and a TD! lol this is priceless, I have never run into something so peculiar in all the years I've done this

12 team league + 3rd highest point total among all teams = Loss

Just once Id like a year where this didnt happen!

Well, I think someone in the Ironman league learned a very valuable lesson.

Don't pick against a division rival when you have a rookie quarterback.

To answer your question, yes. It means he can be placed at both positions. However, be VERY wary of McCluster. Even though he's essentially the ultimate flex since he can fill either slot on your roster, last year he was incredibly overvalued and did not live up to any of those expectations. Look for a second week of decent production before you jump on his bandwagon. Once is a fluke. Twice shows a trend.

Harvin doesn't actually line up at the running back position. He just gets a lot of reverse calls.

I wonder if any of you are going to be slurping up the Ogletree Kool-Aid come Wednesday!

I meant to change that pick when I found out Flynn wasn't starting. Plus I figured the Cards offense would be as anemic as last season. Oh well, at least I won in fantasy.

Well, I was more looking for somebody for Arlee to use. My RB's are fine, though all three are playing touch defenses next week. Harvin, I guess I remember him too much at Florida. Do returners get points for return yards? If so Harvin is worth that much more.

It depends on the scoring format of your league. Some leagues will count return yardage as an individual stat, increasing the value of players such as Josh Cribbs and pretty much every returns specialist to come from Kansas City in the last decade (seriously, that team's cornered the market on return artists for how long?). Most don't, however, and group special teams play with defense. Which, sadly, means you only get credit if they break one out and go the distance.

And you would have been fine if Seattle's receivers hadn't dropped THREE game winning touchdowns on that final drive.

Happy I picked up Alfred Morris in one of my leagues. He should be great to start for a week or two until Shanahan changes his mind and starts another RB for no apparent reason. The Shanahan offensive blocking scheme is a wonder for making fantasy studs out of absolute nobodies. It did it in Denver his entire time there, its doing it in Washington under him, and it is certainly doing it in Houston where it took a nobody and made him a top three pick in fantasy. Foster could go down in a minute and the next guy could step up and produce just as well. Zone blocking is great.

They were pretty poorly thrown balls.

Root for Steven Ridley talking the ball out of Brady's hands like he did last week. He was so good on the ground Brady didn't have to go nuts and throw 5 TDs and 400 yards. Hope he is the same this week.

Ugh, Desean Jackson hurt, Andre Johnson hurt..

How long before Sunday can I change my lineup? Gave up Witten last week due to a "game-time decision", which turned out good for me, but still.
